Gustave Droz (1832–1895)

Droz, Gustave (drōz). A French story-teller; born at Paris, June 9, 1832; died there, Oct. 23, 1895. He wrote: ‘Monsieur, Madame, and Baby’; ‘Sadnesses and Smiles’ (1883); ‘A Bunch of Letters’; ‘At a Spring’; ‘The Child’; for the most part playful sketches of family life.
