Granville Penn (1761–1844)

Penn, Granville. An English theological writer; born at London, Dec. 9, 1761; died in 1844. He made a critical revision of the New Testament—‘The Book of the New Covenant of our Lord’ (1836); ‘Annotations’ to the same (1837); ‘Remarks on the Eastern Origination of Mankind and of the Arts of Cultivated Life’ (1799).
