Frederick St. George de Lautour Booth-Tucker (1853–1929)

Booth-Tucker, Frederick St. George de Lautour. Commander of the Salvation Army in the United States; born in Bengal, India, March 21, 1853; died in 1929. He held positions in the Indian Civil Service until 1881, when he resigned to join the Salvation Army. Among his published works are: ‘Life of Gen. William Booth’ (1898); ‘In Darkest India and the Way Out’ (1899).
