Alphonse Honoré Taillandier (1797–1867)

Taillandier, Alphonse Honoré (tī-ä-dyā’). A French legist; born at Paris, 1797; died there, 1867. His principal works are: ‘Collection of Ancient French Laws from the Year 420 to the Revolution of 1789’ (23 vols., 1821–30); ‘Reflections on the Penal Laws of France and England’ (1824).
