Alexander Brome (1620–1666)

Brome, Alexander. An English poet; born in 1620; died in 1666. He was of pronounced royalist sympathies, and is remembered for various stanzas, published under the title ‘Songs and Poems’ (1661), and a comedy called ‘The Cunning Lovers’ (1654).
