There is a high wire car that takes visitors up to the top of the mountain or one can choice to hike up the mountain. The carving represents three key figures of the Confederacy riding their horses, which are Ulysses Grant, Robert E. Lee, and Jefferson Davis. The width of the carving is the width of a football field. Along with historical museums, the park has campgrounds and horseback riding, a train that goes around the mountain. There are also these vehicles that go on land and water. These car/boat vehicles are called Ducks. When you ride this attraction you are given a whistle that sounds like a duck quack annoying but fun at the same time. My favorite activity, however, is the laser show. The laser show takes place on the face of the mountain followed by a firework show. During the fall there is a fall festival with a pumpkin patch. My wife has the most adorable pictures of my kids in this pumpkin patch.
Last, but definitely not the least, is the Atlanta Aquarium. My family and I did not even know this was attraction when visiting in 2005, we just happen to be visiting the week it opened. The aquarium's animals are displayed in six different galleries: Georgia Explorer, Tropical Diver, Ocean Voyager, Cold Water Quest, River Scout, and Dolphin Tales. Each corresponds to a specific environment. The Georgia Explorer exhibit is geared
Although Dollywood was exhilarating; Gatlinburg was a close second. Gatlinburg is really where the city yet country atmosphere comes into play. We started our journey passing through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and let me just tell you, it was astonishing. This really exhibits the beauty of the smoky mountains. The rocky rivers, unrelenting waterfalls, and glistening greenery really embodied the allure of The Great Smoky Mountains. Unfortunately at this point we just drove through because we were on our way to Gatlinburg, but we came back. Our first destination in Gatlinburg was the aquarium, because we are both fish lovers! We spent hours here, then went on our way elsewhere. Just walking down the streets of Gatlinburg could have kept us entertained for hours. Of course the kid in the both of us guided us to our next destination, the arcade! This was without a doubt my boyfriend’s favorite part, we spent roughly the rest of the afternoon in here, but we didn 't leave our cabin until about 11. There was this crazy clown game where you knock down clowns by throwing balls, and it was extremely addictive. Surprisingly we weren 't the only older people in there. After this we spent the rest of the afternoon shopping and engaging with the friendly people. Finally we were exhausted, and returned to our cabin.
So what we did there was ride roller coasters and eat food. My favorite food there was the ice cream and dot stri. dot strip is like a sprite with flavor and it was really good. Also they have really fun rides there and really big ones that I had to hesitate for a second to ride. The first one me, Mason, and Jonathan did
