Hope you are well. Please find below the letter we sent Zakar after he yelled at me (Mom) for not agreeing for him to have the septum. After we last met Zakar wrote us a note basically disowning us and warning that he will remain silent for 2 days in protest. I am letting you know ( as stated in my note to Zakar) that we have decided not to allow him to have the septum nose piercing done until he turns eighteen. As parents, we feel it is our duty to act as responsibly as we possibly can and do our best to safeguard him from attracting negative attention while still in his high school years. At this point, he is only speaking to me because I pushed him. He is very angry at his father and is not speaking to him. That gives him a lot of time …show more content…
I thought I should make you aware of some of his behaviours that we (as parents) observed overtime. Make no mistake, he is an extremely talented actor which he often uses to his advantage to secure his position in certain circumstances. We have seen this reaction from him over and over and we know his tendencies. We need to hold out firmly on our decisions. I believe with this bit of information about Zakar’s personality, you will have a better idea of how to angle your discussion in support of our decisions, while at the same time convincing Zakar that our intentions are positive and that we have his best interest at heart. I thought I should give you a heads up before your next meeting with Zakar because I don’t think you have ever seen this side of Zakar. We would also like you to encourage him to be respectful. show empathy to others and learn to negotiate, and we have suggested two things in the letter we wrote to him (see below). Sincerely,
he explains his genius plan to him. Zaroff has thought his process through, he knows what he
The name is Kaimana, Athena Kaimana Zarka. While not a bona fide Bond girl, after graduating from college, I hope to manifest the joint sophisticated elegance of a Kenyon Leading Lady with the consummately seasoned charms of a Hollywood heroine, licensed to write, direct, produce, and perform in comparable blockbuster films; however, I would not turn up my Polynesian proboscis or turn down any opportunity to put that selfsame Pinocchio’s nose to the grindstone, in the interest of fabricating an Animated Film, Documentary, Indie, Short, Public Service Announcement, or Television series!
“So let’s say this is Zephyr running around terrorizing the town and supposedly kill two people what are we supposed to do?” Zay asked. “What are you getting at?” Todrick implied as he shifted through his parents drawers grabbing anything that he knew was silver. “Well I mean what if he’s gone?” Todrick stopped what he was doing and looked at Zay. He didn’t know what to say as it wasn’t something he had thought about. “I mean I know it’s a scary thought but come on Tod, he killed two people. Even if we somehow managed to get him back he did things that’ll get him put up.” Zay continued. “I see where you’re coming from but we have to at least try to save him. It’s the least i owe him for turning him into this and then abandoning him.”
It is unfortunate that we will be unable to meet on April 8th. Will you be in the states on April 5th and if so could we possibly meet on April 5th instead of April 8th? If no, April 8th is fine by me, and I will take the NJ transit train from Newark to Princeton.Kind regards,

As a student of Mills High School, I am writing you this letter in hopes that you will consider my position on the continued authorization of Zeitoun being read at Mills. In the best interest of the student body of Mills, I firmly believe that Zeitoun should continue as summer reading due to the numerous positive effects it can have on students.
The primary source that I have chosen is “Turkish Embassy Letters” written by Lady Wortley Montagu and edited by Malcolm Jack. In this reading the author describes her journey in the Middle East. She gives her perspective on her adventure, which is very important because it can help eliminate orientalism and the negative views about the Middle East. It also gives us an idea on how the Middle East looked like during the 1700s. Orientalism still exists today and I will be showing examples from the text on how Montagu’s trip proves how orientalism is wrong. Edward Said stated that, “American understanding of the Orient will seem considerably less dense (Orientalism Pg. 2).” Everyone has their own assumptions and I believe this reading can help eliminate the assumptions of the Middle East and to improve awareness of orientalism.
I have began noticing distinct mood changes in Branson Reeve. On his bad days, he results to isolating himself in his room and playing video games. On his happier days, he is social and engages with the family. Throughout this year, I have discovered that he is developed a conventional level of moral thinking. He has been extremely concerned on what is "fair" and "not fair" among specific people and incidents. During this time, I guide him in a positive direction by informing him of my morals and beliefs. At the end of the year, his final progress report arrived, which showed all "A's" and "B's". Branson Reeve's teachers recommended that he takes advanced math and science his eighth grade year. In addition, his art teacher also commented that he has a knack for creativity. He has shown to be effective at managing his time and worked well independently. He is on track and prepared to be an eighth grader. Branson Reeve and his friends had been compiling multiple plans and ideas for their summer. However, they quickly ran out of those plans and became bored. I offered several fun suggestions, but he rejected them
His interactions with me became more normal. I liked the immediate results of my new found ‘compete’ mode and continued to experiment with it. After few positive outcomes of these experiments this new mode gradually became my default mode for dealing with conflicts and continued to be my default mode till date. I believed that the ‘compete’ mode had made me a better negotiator, but I did not realize until I took this class that it really never helped me to build or improve relationships. In Raj’s case, after we graduated, we lost in touch even though we were roommates for couple of years. Some of the above strengths and weaknesses were confirmed by my wife and friends in their feedback to the “Emotional Intelligence Self Assessment”. The responses found that the areas that need attention are “Awareness of Others” and “Systems Contribution”, which were in sync with my own assessment. The learning material and the exercises of this class have prompted to repeated introspection over the past couple of months. I must confess that this introspection led me to find more weaknesses than strengths apart from the above. I realized that during my home and car buying instances, most of my negotiations were driven my positions rather than interests. I approached those negotiations without proper preparation or a BATNA. Not surprisingly, those negotiations ended up as not very pleasant experiences. Though I believe my listening

My-Kayla responded well to the intervention. My-Kayla completed the worksheet with assistance. My-Kayla stated, the child and mother should explain their reasons, brainstorm ways on how to solve the situation, find a way of compromising the situation by allow the kid to go to the movie with an adult, follow through with the solution or try to come up with alternative solution to the problem, by allowing the child to go to an age appropriate movie. My-Kayla stated, that she sometime get into arguments with her brother, however they compromise to resolve the situation. My-Kayla stated, that she have difficulty resolving disagreements peacefully at school, however she usually would take the problem to a teacher or guidance counselor. My-Kayla
Being born into one of the most leading families in Athens, Pericles was brought up in a very well off family. His father Xanthippus (meaning yellow horse) was known for his heroism in the Persian War also as a wealthy politician, which would have helped stem Pericles interested in politics from a young age having his father so heavily involved in politics. His mother, Agariste was from a culturally powerful Alcmaeondiae family which was also very wealthy. Due to his family’s wealth they could afford to educate Pericles and feed his growing interest in education, in fields such as Politics and Philosophy and music. Because of his high education he is known as one of the

Part VI Strategies for Assessing Sinclair's Leadership Effectiveness Capability things for powerful leadership have incorporated a leader's capacity to motivate others, to support followers, to listen well, to know about his/her organization, to have vision, to have great interpersonal abilities, to have the capacity to resolve conflicts, to know about the law, to have the capacity to direct people, and in addition, adjust individuals toward basic headings (Spencer & Spencer, 1993; Conger, 1992; Kotter, 1990), those would serve as a guideline for developing new behaviors that would go in the direction of Sinclair's necessities for Mattel's and his own success. Besides, there are other necessities for Sinclair, which have included a leader's
Consequently, negotiation is a process that can be approached in many ways. No matter what strategy we choose, success lies in how well we prepared. The key to negotiating a beneficial outcome is the negotiators’ ability to consider all the elements of the situation carefully and to identify and think through the options. At the same time, negotiators must be able to keep events in perspective and be as fair and honest as circumstance allows. Because a common ground or interest has brought the parties to the negotiating table, a negotiator can benefit by trying to capitalize on this common
