YEF Atlanta plans to focus most of their efforts first at the colleges surrounding Atlanta Bethel Church. Four historical African-American universities sit only two blocks away from the church. YEF plans to take advantage of this proximity to the schools, in order to find many young students seeking God and raise them as leaders of the church.
Last Friday, Pastor Anderson of Atlanta Bethel met with the organization and ministry leaders to discuss the goals for the whole church community, the Southeastern region and for Georgia from this year until 2021. It was agree upon that the goal for 2021 should be approximately 3,000 church leaders in Georgia. YEF will play a substantial role in this growth, because of the group’s goal to educate young leaders. And so, YEF ATL has set up a few short-term goals to jumpstart this development.
At the aforementioned universities close to the church, YEF plans to find three leaders by Easter of next year. They’ll do this by offering individual and group bible studies as

So this is the most immediate and number one prayer for YEF Atlanta. Through only 3 leaders, YEF can begin evangelizing and developing clubs on other campuses in Atlanta. Through that growth, YEF ATL can begin leading the way for YEF in the other states in the Southeastern region. YEF Atlanta can only do so much, but it is through prayer that God truly works. YEF ATL sincerely and humbly ask everyone to keep them in your prayers and specifically pray for three great leaders by Easter 2017. God sees the dim and faltering lights in people’s hearts all over the Southeast. They are seeking something more; they are seeking the truth. As the center of the Bible Belt, both the Atlanta church and YEF desire to revive the people’s relationship with God and become like a beacon of hope, love, and true peace within the community surrounding the church and to plant many lighthouses throughout the Southern United

Victory Baptist Church is a case study of revitalization. It serves to show that it is possible that younger churches can become complacent very quickly when they experience growth at such an awesome rate. Victory Baptist Church seems to have a promising future in sight. One of the main goals of the associate pastor is to keep a sense of urgency and change occurring. Most of all, he know that this work cannot be done without the help of the Holy

Pastored in 1952 by Alice Lavern Riles, known as Mother Sheppard, The Church of Columbus remains today within the city of Columbus, Georgia. From a tiny building on 49th Street, to the over a million-dollar facility today, The Church of Columbus has gone through its share of change. Growing up, the church was called the First United Pentecostal Church, but once the church moved locations, Pastor renamed it The Church of Columbus. Located on 2001 Double Churches Road, there lies my second home, with its grand 36,000 square feet structure. Growing up, I was always at the church, whether it was for practice, or just to play sports such as volleyball and football with my lifelong friends that I had made throughout my attendance at the church. According the church’s website, “the church has grown from a Sunday morning attendance of sixty-one in 1985, to a consistent attendance of over 400 in 2013” (The Church of Columbus). The church’s motto is “Loving all to Christ”. The motto refers to the church’s ultimate goal of reaching the 290,000 souls of the Columbus, Phenix City, Fort Benning area (The Church of Columbus). A church member, Lisa Gail Stringer-Johnson described the church; “The first thing you feel when you walk through the doors is an outpouring of Love and God’s presence.” I am extremely grateful that I have such a tremendous place to call my second home.
In formulating my MAP (Ministry Action Plan) for revival, there are several goals to be achieved. The first goal which is the primary goal is to get every church member to participate in fruitful evangelism because there is a sense of our church dying on the vine and they do not know it.
Second, Butler disagrees with Kidd on the extent of George Whitefield’s impact. Despite delivering charismatic performances when he preached the Gospel, there wasn’t sustained change in local religious patterns in the places he spoke. Furthermore, the leadership of the revivals was not exactly cohesive. Whitefield held symbolic stature but didn’t hold strategic oversight on the local ministers that he influenced. A lack of unity only hampered the growth potential of the revival spirit and mission
c. Briefly describe what they look like. Evangelism consist of Hope for the World ministry to engage the world with the gospel.
There are many challenges to ministry in today’s world and having a vital and relevant ministry is even harder. Churches across all denominations face drastic declines in both attendees and financial giving. With this as the background, it is imperative that vital ministries seek out opportunities to grow and engage groups and communities that have previously been overlooked, missed or not involved for other reasons including some theological reasons. With this idea and goal in mind, this essay sets out to examine and design a process by which the Churches of Cherokee, Oklahoma can successfully connect with and minster to the new Hispanic community in Cherokee. Using the pastoral cycle method, a process will be designed in this essay to
First, he distinguishes the key differences between a youth group and a student ministry. Youth groups, according to Boshers, are activity-driven, have unclear visions, are inward focused, experience minimal growth, include songs and games, are focused on keeping traditions, and are busy in the world. On the other hand, he asserts that student ministries are purpose-driven, have clear visions, are outward focused, experience consistent growth, include worship and prayer, ask questions to continue growing, and are focused on kingdom work. In order to build a vibrant student ministry, Boshers claims that one must focus on becoming a leader instead of simply being a baby-sitter. In addition, the author asserts that, for a student ministry to truly develop healthily, a leader must provide students opportunities to serve and make a difference.
According to Bill Hull, “While certain pockets of evangelicalism have grown, overall, the church is in a decline. Many congregations can attest to Hull’s assessment, in that, churches in America are indeed experiencing sharp declines in its numbers of baptisms and church attendance. Over

In 1993 Pastor John Kilpatrick initiated prayer for revival for the Brownsville Assembly of God in Pensacola, Florida. Since its establishment in 1939, the church has had a reputation for integrity, a church where holiness has been preached, prayer has been central, and it has a heart for the nations. The prayer initiative with Pastor Kilpatrick leading resulted in the beginning of the Pensacola Outpouring or the Brownsville Revival on Father’s Day 1995. Steve Hill, a missionary-evangelist, preached about revival and gave an invitation for prayer. To everyone’s amazement the Holy Spirit gave a powerful deposit of God’s presence. As the news about the revival spread, people flocked from around the world. The church leadership was surprised but
Remedying the problems that the church faces is not easy. They are deeply rooted and people will create road-blocks to solutions. Our first approach to solving these issues rests in education. How effective will an evangelistic campaign be if the members are not trained? People will only do as well as they are taught and challenged; therefore, we need to formulate a solid educational program relating to evangelism. The first phase of this is teaching members where evangelism starts: in the church itself.
