When people are at a wrestling meet there are many things that people might notice. The most noticeable ones are smell, taste, touch, sound, and sight. Just like in ordinary life there are many things that you can smell, taste, touch, hear, and see. Most of the time when people walk into a place the first thing you will notice it the smell. When you walk into a wrestling meet there can be many different smells, but it can depend on when you get there. The most noticeable smells that you will notice are sweat, food, and the mat cleaner. The most noticeable smell is the sweat, or the food. If you get to the meet before it starts you are going to smell the food first, because the wrestlers have not started wrestling yet. There are many different noises at a wrestling meet. The most noticeable one is the coach’s and the people in the crowd yelling. The coach’s yell to get the wrestler to do what they say, and the people in the crowd yell at the referee’s if they think that they did something wrong. You can hear the cheerleaders pounding on the mat and yelling their cheers. These things can be a negative if you are sensitive to sounds. If you are in the crowd you will most likely hear kids running up and down the bleachers when they are either going to the bathroom, or they are trying to find something to do. When the wrestlers lose their match then they get mad and take off their headgear as fast as they can and go to the sides. When they throw their gear you can either hear it hit a chair or the floor and it will make a loud noise. When the wrestlers lose most people stay quiet because they know that if you cheer then it can make the person that lost feel worse about losing. If the wrestlers lose their meet then on the way home on the bus the cheerleaders and everyone else have to be quiet so that they can think about what to do better and not to make them feel worse about
Wrestling is one of the oldest sports, and it has a lot of historical background. Wrestling was established in the 15th and 16th century, but it was not a competitive sport at the time. There have been cave drawings of wrestling found from 3000 B.C., which shows that either the sport or at least ideas about the sport have been around for a long time (Olympic). It was during the pioneer days that wrestling’s popularity began to grow. In Canada, there was a wrestling champion from each of the small villages and settlements. After the champions were crowned, they would all compete against each other and whoever won was the best of the best (Wrestling). A wide variety of people were involved in wrestling, even some presidents, including Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. Washington was good enough to win a tournament, and at one point in history, there was a style of wrestling named after him. That style, however, is no longer used in today’s sport.

The first real traces of the development of wrestling date back to the times of the Sumerians which is 5000 years ago. Wrestling has been a very important factor in my life ever since someone suggested it my freshman year of high school. Even though I have not wrestled a lot I would say I am very literate in the sport.
Throughout the years, sporting events has been a place for fans to forget about what is going on in their life, take a break from the real world, and focus on the game. Often, many fans don't just watch and keep up with sports solely because of the type of sport, but also to keep up with their favorite athletes and teams. However, the aggressive and violent nature of the sports can often be carried over from the field to real life, impacting not only the athlete and the team, but also the fans.
After being trained and taking every precaution, there still a threat of someone getting hurt, from the performer to someone in the audience.

Lanie SalmonThere are many school activities that students enjoy however a lot of students, boys and girls pick cheer. Cheer has been around for a while now, and a lot of students try out every year. Students enjoy cheer because of the competitions, the games, and meeting new people. At competitions students can compete against one team or they can compete against ten teams. In competitions students perform whatever cheers or dances the team prepared. Usually before the competitions the coach or coaches will give the team a speech to help calm the nerves. One of the down factors about competitions is when the team loses then everyone on the team will start blaming the people who messed up for the loss of the team. One of the good factors
It can launch a good future from some girls or boys. Girls and boys both risk their bodies to do something they love. Cheer worlds has changed many places and teams around them to put hard work and shape up to amazing teams. I forgot to mention this is all held on live television. Could you only imagine how crazy and scary that is.
Spectating sporting events does not produce negative outcomes all the time; it actually can trigger another type of chemicals that make sport fans want to maximize their participation. For instance, when a football fan steps into the stadium, the rhythmic swaying of fellow fans or the coordinated exposure of music
The next factor involved in attending a sporting event is the overall atmosphere which to me is always the best at a college sporting event. While controversial, the Kansas State vs. Kansas game is notorious for a certain chant when the game rolls into Manhattan. Typically, towards the end of the second half of the game the song Sandstorm by Darude is played and a chant of “F*ck KU” rings out from the Kansas State student section. As I have many friends that go to school at K-State this chant is something all the students look forward to as I have even personally heard the chant at football games. While not respectful and flat out wrong, this chant is something that I consider a part of the rivalry. Some may have a very different view on this, but I believe things could be much
You know it, it's the one and only wrestling! You are probably living in a cave plus not be living your life's full potential if you don't know what wrestling is! Wrestling involves many things like its diet, its history, plus its rules!
While screaming “you can’t do that” a girl claps with the group in order to push the buttons of the competition whenever they would mess up a play. The cheerleaders stand on the track, leading Mayhem to be wild. The air is cold and the day is slowly ending yet the fans know exactly what that means; a party is happening after this game. That cup of coffee in the girls’ hand that kept her hands warm gets thrown out after the final touchdown is made, and now onto celebrate the win. The fan does not see what the field stands for. She does not see the importance of the field or really the track around the field. She see one more game they attended with friends. She sees one more night of fun, goofing off, being a kid who will soon graduate and live the best possible life. She does not realize that this crowd will move on and have something important they are leaving behind. That is why the track is irrelevant. The fans as a whole have their own important places and times. Whether that is also a track or a baseball field or the town park, they see the track as a place to cheer and the field as a place to win some high school games. A space with buttery popcorn, burgers, and warm hot chocolate that can be smelt from a mile away. Fans do not see the hard work put in at track practice or any other sport for that matter when running laps and neither does her. Everyone in that school has used the track at
