An Athletic Trainer needs to be educated in psychology, medicine and dentistry, therapy and counseling, and education and training. To be an Athletic Trainer, a person needs to be educated in psychology so they can understand people, their actions, mental processes, and how to treat problems. Trainers also have to know about medicine and dentistry because when a player gets an injury or illness they need to know the right treatment. Therapy and Counseling is also an important thing for Athletic Trainers to be educated in because they need to know mental and physical problems and how they are going to treat them. Using physical therapy equipment, techniques or medication and asses and report the progress of recovering athletes to coaches or physicians. Being an athletic trainer is a great career choice if one enjoys the feeling of helping people, being close to sports and activities and a good salary and benefits.
Though electricians and athletic trainers seem to be opposites between schooling, field, and growth, they share similarities in salary, location, workplace, and disposition. Athletic trainers and electricians are as different as apples and carrots. There are small things that are similar but are mainly two different things. The history of these two careers are very different starting in different time eras and how it was formed.

This was definitely an eye opening research discussion. I really took my time to find a unique product that no one has really heard of before. I found this assignment fun and educational. I found a very odd and strange product, try not to laugh. The product is called the Blood Type Workout by Doctor Joseph Christiano. It wasn’t until I started going to physical therapy that I realized that I didn’t have to, so I decided that I wanted to be a physical therapist, to help other people get back on their feet. However, my junior year, we got a new athletic trainer at my high school. Over the last ten years weightlifting competition has seen a large spike in publicity. Strongman competitions and bodybuilding have been around for years, but of recently CrossFit has been extremely popular. Not only does CrossFit try to discover the “best athlete” on earth, but because the sport has so many variations on difficulty, people from all different types of backgrounds are able to participate in it. The movie “Born Strong” highlights four professional strongman competitors preparing for the Arnold Classic, as well as the competition. These four athletes share very similar training methods from weight training or their mental state to the athletes from CrossFit that are shown in the movie “Froning: The Fittest Man in History”.

I strongly disagree with this issue because I find it unfair for an athlete, who is physically involved all year round, to be forced to take a gym class while they could be taking another elective or a block class. Many doctors say to maintain a healthy, in shape body you should exercise at least 30 minutes five days a week. My gymnastics practices are anywhere from three to four hours, six days a week. That is well over the recommended amount of exercise I need per day. Secondly, at Arrowhead, classes are usually 44 minutes. Taking into account, you need time to change in and out of your uniform which would take a few minutes away from class. If I’m practicing at least four times more than what a gym class does each day, then I don’t see the

I wake up at 7:30 and walk to the kitchen to prepare my breakfast, I get two grainy slices of bread and spread them with almond butter. This meal contains 30 to 40 grams of carbs which will give me enough energy to have a long and high intensity workout, the carbs will fuel my muscles and won’t weigh me down. I get ready and walk to the gym, I arrive at 8:30 and start on my warm up.
