Work is a very important thing in peoples' lives because it can help people to get money they need to live and to develop peoples' skills in work. Some people think that children within upper teenage should do part-time job during weakends and vacations. Others believe that people should not do job during studying age. In my view, I think that children between age 16-18 years should work, for these two important reasons. First, working in a upper teenage can help people decide their majors. This is important to help students know what to do in future. For example, when I had sixteen years old, I started wondering what major I would study after high school. So, I decided to work in different fields to help me decide my major. I decided to study pharmacy when I worked as a pharmacy technician. So, I like helping people and I found in my work in the pharmacy that pharmacists have great role in helping people to take their medications. So, pharmacists can counsel patients about how they can use their medications and also pharmacists encourage patients to take medications to heal from their diseases. Fortunately, my work at the high school's age enabled me to take …show more content…
This is very important for students' lives after high school. For instance, as I mentioned before, I started to work when I had sixteen years old. That helped me to get about five thousand dollars from my work. And, that enabled me after the graduation from the high school to live alone in a small dorm on Phoenix campus university. So, I used my saved money to pay my tuition of studying in university. Also, I started to use the money that I got from my work in the pharmacy to pay for the rent of my dorm. As a result, the money that I got from my work helped me to start studying pharmacy immediately after the graduation from the high school. As you can see, how work is important for students to help them study in
I think that if is really necessary to have kids working then they should keep it like that. I understand that is bad for kids that age to be working but is actually a good thing because when they grow up they’ll know already what they need to do to
Kids under the age of 14 cannot work and get a job. They should be able to get jobs. That means they are reliant to get money from others or parents. Or maybe that families cannot afford basic necessity and maybe the kids can help too by getting a job. But kids can do many things and are often underestimated and in most cases, kids can accomplish the same an adult can. And kids over the age of 14 can get a job but they must work under a certain amount of hours and cannot get the amount of money they want and it can affect the money they earn.
Teens Should Have A Job There are bountiful upsides of having a job as a teenager, like getting paid and an actual paycheck, learning skills and life lessons, and so many other things. Teen jobs can be a lot, but when one realizes the benefits of them, work will seem a lot more enticing. Jobs are undoubtedly one of the most important aspects of life. Having a job as a teen is a great involvement for them to find their own potentials. Even as just working at fast-food places. We spend four years of our lives attending high school. Going through high school is supposed to prepare us for college and “the real world.” Throughout these four years we begin to better understand our choices for college majors, but we don’t get presented with the financial and time struggle that we will face. College costs money, along with everyday living. When attending college we become more independent and are faced with the problem of coming up with money and finding a balance between time for work and school. Though it may seem like working through high school is a bad idea, it could better prepare students for “the real world.”
Most jobs require working with others and at times dealing with difficult customers. Getting a job teaches teens to develop good people skills. It is important for me to remain patient when caring for the elderly. I have to encourage them to be independent as possible even when it takes extra time. For example, when transporting residents I have to allow them to transport themselves although I could get them where they need to go much quicker. I also deal with people who are not always the friendliest. I have been cussed at and even hit trying to care for elders at the nursing home but I have learned to stay patient during those situations. It is not always easy but when I feel myself getting upset or frustrated I remind myself that these people are dependent on me to take care of them. Getting a job teaches teens to work well with others which is a necessary life
Teens work to help them gain work experience for jobs that they will take in the future. “Clark is a 16 year old who talks about how working experience can help teens like him to succeed in their career” (“Africa News Service” 1). Teens want work experience so they can improve in their weak points. “Bailey talks about how she was very shy, but until she started working she had become more open towards people” (2). Teens getting working experience and equally treated will help them be confident and grow up to be a good example of an
