What's a Work Spouse ?
It's that one person at work that you gravitate towards, to perhaps share a meme, or notify when there's cake in the conference room. That one person you share an inside joke with via text during a pointless 40 minute meeting. C'mon you know what I mean... you're work spouse.
Now, it's cool when your single and it can develop into something. But what happens if you're already taken; might your relationship with your work spouse give your significant other cause for concern?
No one wants to be cheated on: it's a ridiculing, heartbreaking, and energy draining to say the least. Being deceived is painful and if you're not careful it can cause you to grow subsequently jaded about both future partners and relationships.

(provided that you don't catch an STD or get knocked up of course). It could add a generally healthy/refreshing twist to the mundane bullshit (provided those involved are firstly fulfilled in their current relationship and mature enough to respect boundaries).
An emotional relationship with a person, say a co-worker, or classmate channels some of the energy, creativity, and enthusiasm you'd normally would invest in your partner/spouse into someone else because of your given circumstances. For example, you and a co-worker share an organic interest in a specific comic series, one no one else understands. In addition to this hobby, you both share a similar sense of humor as well as other happen to have more mutual interests. I think it's fine because I believe that platonic friendships outside of a relationship (male and female) are healthy and necessary.
I'd go crazy without a work spouse. In fact when I first start a new job, after I get the hang of things, one of the first things I do is vet people for their potential as work spouse (male or female). To reiterate, you're walking a slippery slope if you seek a work spouse and also feel unfulfilled in your relationship: "emotional cheating", gone awry may very well lay the foundation for a sexual

Money's a touchy subject, and one that I'll get into eventually. However money spent on another that jeopardizes a couples financial goals hat is earned shared and accounted for between money that is earned and accounted for between a couple, is wired to someone else for their pleasure or needs, then the best interest of the couple as a unit becomes jeopardized. So paying for your work spouse's lunches, or overly spending on a birthday or Holiday gift, would certainly pose a threat to an existing relationship. But it's a topic and asset that should only be administered and spent by the couple needs/desires/plans, not the needs of others. Financial goals, even future vacations planned together in a dating situation, create incentives for a couple to remain monogamous or exclusive, so any leaks in the plan would sabotage a couple's plans, goals, and ultimate
A work relationship is another way of describing a relationship with your coworker. You spend time together at work, you work well together, but you have little or no contact outside of work. It's strictly professional.
Most cheaters in general don't or won't really want to see or connect with the hurt they put others through and always try to justify themselves even when there's a situation in where they don't really have any reason to cheat on their wonderful partner. instead of helping to shoulder their partners woes and building together they'd rather think about their own needs first and deal with the consequences
Although I haven’t personally observed it, there has been quite a few reports of married individuals get romantically involved with their coworkers while deployed. In both instances, the individuals involved did not see an issue with the situations that they were in
Diane the perception in your office is that you are too the friendly with staff. This perceived friendship also gives the perception that workers come to you to find out what was said in our MTM/conference calls with APCS and/or to gossip about other APCW or APCS.
After World War II, the husband would work long hours as his wife stayed home using her Hoover vacuum cleaner. Page says, “Following World War II, the U.S. experienced increased distribution of wealth and income which allowed more people to acquire more things such as; automobiles, houses, refrigerators, airplanes, etc (3). No more hand washing clothes and hanging clothes on the line to dry, which the poor people had to do. A worthy person’s washer and dryer could clean and dry her chores in hours instead of days. These appliances helped improve life, for both sexes. The husband showed his worth even more, when his wife did not work as well. If a husband’s wife worked a job, this could spread rumors that the family is experiencing a hardship.
Unfortunately, when these things are seriously pursued can lead to undesirable upshot. I have known of a girl in my batch, my dorm mate as well that dated
Marriage isn 't a love affair. It isn 't even a honeymoon. It 's a job. A long hard job, at which the females have to work for mans every goddamn desire. Is this how I´m going to spend the rest of my life? Marred to someone who is perpetually distracted and somewhat wistful.
Your wife might want money, but you matter most. Try not to run for the money, but for your wife. Always manage time for her and be with her. She needs you more than your money.

There is a faction of men in gay relationships, which choose not to practice monogamy. A study in San Francisco followed five hundred fifty-six male couples for three years. It discovered that about fifty percent of those surveyed chose to have sex outside their relationships.(James) In an open situation, many partners seek proxies to supplement their sexual desires. Exploring the availability of sex without commitment can provide the excitement of being single. Including individuals in the partnership can even provide an outlet for sexual tension. Whenever there is conflict, it may provide for the release from monotony that can develop in a steady relationship. For this type of arrangement to work, it is essential the couples determine guidelines that set up a structure of rules.
