The best part of the Fitbit is not the watch itself, but the app. The app syncs with your device via Bluetooth and keeps track with the device throughout the day. This changing gaming experience may come from the fact that similarly to truly staying fit, this is a never-ending game. The user does not actually “win” or have an end. They may win individual competitions with themselves or in groups of other people, but they do not win in the long run (besides actual fitness). Because fitness is often associated with hard work and Fitbit’s average user is relatively sedentary the fall-off could occur among the difference of people who use Fitbit for its’ fitness monitoring and those that use it as short-term inspiration and games. The Philips Health Watch is not billed as a fitness tracker, but as a medical device for older individuals who want to track activity, heart rate, sleep, and nutrition. But the billing doesn 't really matter in this case, since the watch is more barebones than less expensive trackers that do the same basic things. There 's no built-in GPS, the interface is cumbersome, and its sleep tracker is rather inaccurate in testing.
