Throughout history women have often played a significant role, and how although women haven’t usually been in a position of power, they have, none-the-less, often contributed in significant ways. Like these 2 women, Empress Theodora and Queen Elizabeth the I, the both gave back to their societies .

She was one of the most famous and liked monarch. Mainly throughout those fifty years Elizabeth maintained the stability of England through wars and political turmoil. Queen Elizabeth grew up as a typical royal child receiving education and strived in art and music. Elizabeth was able to inherit and control a male dominating word and she did it well. Ruling with genuine love for her people she was able to provide the stability a nation needs to strive.

Some of the women were maids and some, were just mere women of the kingdom or just an everyday woman (not that that is a bad thing). But no matter their status, there was one major rule all women had to follow, and that rule was to do everything they were told to do by their husbands or other men of high authority, such as the king. An example of this is when the men of the village invaded odysseus's kingdom, penelope's maids aided to the men. They brought the men food, water, wine, and other necessities no matter how aggravating or annoying the men

Medieval kings followed specific outlines of treaties and slow but sure glorification because of the initial weak position. One of the more important specific events involved was the Norman Conquest of England.

Although there were many issues and problems that occurred during her reign, Queen Elizabeth I successfully addressed and responded to many of the social, political, and educational issues of her time. The Queen reacted to many different situations in a strict manner in order to strengthen and rebuild England. Elizabeth worked to spread literature, prevent crime, and expand the art of the theater. As she strove to solve issues, Queen Elizabeth led England to a long period of growth and prosperity.

When people mention about the word Monarchy, an image of a dignified, untouchable personality appears in their minds, for Kings and Queens have been living in massive castles and separating themselves from the rest of the population. Nevertheless, the case of a secluded sovereign did not apply to Queen Elizabeth I, who redefined the royal precedent quite uniquely. Unlike her predecessors who had lived lavishly and far from civilians, Elizabeth I employed her loving nature and rhetoric skills to capture the hearts of her subjects, making her being revered in history of England. Queens played great roles during the period of New kingdom Egypt. They were known as the Great Royal Wife's of the pharaohs and contributed politically, religiously and diplomatically influencing the roles of women during this period, and even future queens.

She manage the slaves and organize the animals, preventing the kingdom from falling apart or losts it power. At night she would cry and long for her husband to come home ( Atwood 85-89).This show the loyalty because she waited and devoted for him for many years and took care of his possession to made him to be proud of her. She still keep hope of him returning home and does not want him to be disappointed when he returned and see his kingdom. She put his priority as if it were her and took care of it to show her devotion and loyalty toward him.

Gun control has been a major controversial topic for quite a few years now. More recently however, the issue of gun control has escalated because of racial issues, terrorism, and an increase in mass shootings. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not one of those radicals who believe there shouldn’t be any gun control laws. I believe there should be some gun control laws and restrictions. While restrictions on carrying concealed weapons have been beneficial to reducing crime rates, there shouldn’t be strict gun control laws against carrying concealed weapons because dangerous people still find ways to obtain firearms, we have the right to bear arms, and some states with restrictions on the carrying of concealed weapons had higher gun-related murder rates.

I have learned that, in Japan, aging is viewed differently than in America. In Japan, many of the elders are looked upon as wise sages and children honor and care for their parents. I have read that the Japanese concepts of aging are rooted in Buddhist, Confucian, and Taoist philosophy and traditions that equate aging as maturity. In Japan, aging seems to have a socially valuable part in life as a time to reflect and rest after a busy life. During this time of reflection, the elders try to gain transcendental understanding.
