Formerly, arithmetic was not a basis in finding causes of a phenomenon in anatomy or philosophy, and it was not considered to be academically important. Therefore, Harvey’s theory was considered insupportable. Moreover, Hofmann believed that Nature was perfect, and used that belief as a basis to question the purpose of Harvey’s theory. In other words, NYC eliminates an English test for yellow cab drivers under new rules designed to make it easier for immigrants to get behind the wheel of a yellow cab. The test for a taxi licence will be available in several languages under regulations that went into effect three weeks ago. So that means I can become a yellow cab driver, too.
Physics is known to be a natural science. It majorly entails the study of matter and the motion of matter through time and space, along with related concepts such as force and energy. Does the circulatory system apply concepts in physics as the blood circulates through the entire system? The circulatory system’s main objective is to transport blood throughout all the necessary parts of the body. The blood in effect transports nutrients and oxygen to these body parts and wastes away from these body parts to the organs that excrete them out of the body. The heart is the nerve centre of the circulatory system. This is so as it is this organ that pumps the blood that carries both the nutrients and wastes to the appropriate parts of the body.

His conclusions were drawn mainly from outer appearances (Bayon 444). This made Harvey’s work more accurate because he performed specific experiments and calculations. One reason Harvey was able to determine the movement of blood through the body was founded in Aristotle’s belief of the perfection of circular motion because it is continuous path (Pagel 28).
