Introduction

This study also showed that caffeine can decrease depression by increasing Dopamine (A mood altering hormone) in the brain. With the increase in production of Dopamine, daily intake of caffeine has also been shown to decrease the rate of Parkinson’s disease.

Coffee contains many different compounds and not just caffeine alone. Therefore, consumption of coffee results in diverse health outcomes. This means that coffee can have its advantages and disadvantages.
