Why We Shouldn T Drugs Be Banned In Schools

Drug usage is dangerous. Many high school children use drugs throughout school. Sometimes the drugs they consume are synthetic. Although the children think there are no consequences, there is bound to be consequences they have to face from the drugs. Most students take advantage of their prescriptions and abuse it . Even though Marijuana is classified as a drug, it isn't really addicting.

Resourse officers, teachers, and administrators with experience in this practice of drug searches often discover talking about the drug problem wasn't enough and action is needed. High school students do and think whatever they want. I know this because I am a high school student. Mary White, who is a principal at Longmont High School, reported that "we had used the tradional methoods of drug education. I think that the mission of the police is to protect the children in the community overall everybody. So I would give them the right to search through lockers that seem suspicious that is what I think is safe for the community. Hello have you heard about the controversy with the school drug testing.Well at the moment middle school students can only be drug tested if they show symptoms of drug abuse and even then they are rare.There is prove that all grades 7-12 have kids that take drugs.That’s why i think middle school drug test should happen more often to prevent kids getting addicted to drugs.That is why I think middle schools should test kids.

The problem with drugs is that the responsibility they require is too big for middle school students. In middle school, kids are just learning how to make decisions on their own. This is one reason that drugs are a problem during this time. Peer pressure is a big factor in starting the drugs. This is how it spreads. Testing middle school students for drugs would be a way to solve the problem before it even begins. Middle school is a time where kids are still developing mentally, physically, and emotionally and experimenting with drugs could be-and is-detrimental to this process. The big controversy right now within the government and high schools is whether or not random drug testing should be legal in schools. There are many reasons why it should not be legalized, one reason being it goes against the fourth amendment. Why should we have testing in schools when many major health organizations oppose it? America spending 51 billion a year to fight against drugs is idiotic because they can use that money help students pay for school, create more jobs, help families in poverty,and build shelters. People do not really know how harmful smoking cigarettes or hookah is but they still do it. People drink alcohol and this is the number one leading cause of preventable death in the US. Drugs are a very strong controversy and people have such strong opinions about whether or not they should be legal or not. Schools should do random drug tests. Drug tests can make teens stop doing drugs because they don’t want to be caught and face the consequences. Whoever fails the tests can be talked to and helped.
