In the future, I hope to pursue neurosurgery because I want to work in a very significant field that many people do not pursue. This is because in the future, I plan on going to other countries and performing free surgery on people who cannot afford it. Before becoming a surgeon, I would like to become a general doctor and continue my plan of going to other countries to diagnose and treat people who cannot otherwise afford it.
I have traveled all around the world throughout my life and have experienced many different and difficult things that I believe will help me contribute to this medical school community. Along with being able to mold and adjust to my surroundings, I feel that I can interact with many different types of people due
I hope to build lasting relationships with the members and faculty. The close-knit network of faculty and students seem to provide resources to help current undergraduates achieve success in their endeavors in the health field. Being a part of this network will supply me with resources to successfully achieve my goals in medicine.
Just as the institution is eager to continue embracing the ever-changing world of healthcare and medicine, I too embody this same distinguishing characteristic. Throughout my undergraduate experiences I have learned in order to be a steward and servant of the medical profession one must exercise teamwork, service, empathy, accountability, and optimism; all of which coincide with the tenets that are declared by the Meharry Medical College, School of Medicine culture. Attending this medical school would be one of the greatest rewards for my motivation and persistence. I know for certain there would be no greater experience than to be a part of the Meharry Medical College
I have cultivated many skills throughout my undergraduate education that I believe will help me succeed throughout medical school. My decision to become a doctor did not happen overnight but was a passion that grew with me and inspired my entire life. I am eager to start my journey at Morehouse College of medicine and become a physician that provides quality treatment and works on improving health care in rural areas and underserved communities in Georgia and across the United
Initially, in the future I would like to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy. I want to become an Occupational Therapist because I would love to help people recover from injury to regain skills. I am very focused on my career and the path I want to take in pursuing my career. The medical field has always been a passion of mine.
I want to be a physician, so I plan to be pre-med in college, and then I will either go straight into medical school or enter an MD/PhD program. I am applying for the Chris Hoffmann Memorial Scholarship to help reduce the amount of debt I will acquire throughout these years of higher education. Helping people gives me purpose, so I will devote the rest of my life to helping people by becoming a physician, volunteering, and doing anything I can. I try to incorporate helping people into every facet of my life, and I have an especially strong love of family.
Hello, my name is Brendan Sherwin, I am 16 years old, and currently attends West Hills High School as a junior. I am that benevolent student that everyone goes to for help or goes to be their partner in group projects. I am a leader to many and a great friend to others. I am currently thinking about joining military, but at the same time I want to save lives. So I decided to join the military sector in health care is the best way to go, in the military leadership earns respect. Besides getting respect, I would like to get the satisfaction of helping those that have risked their lives for this beautiful country of ours, so this is my way of giving back to them. So I want to become a Navy Neurosurgeon. I feel that with my leadership, determination,
My career goal is to become a pathologist. Pathologists are like detectives, anxious to crack medical mysteries such as cancer, AIDS, and diabetes. Every disease that is on the surface of this earth is as important as the other because they have that same heartbreaking effect. One disease that I would care solve is cancer. I recently saw a picture of a little that was suffering from cancer, unfortunately, cancer won, but the picture is so heartbreaking because I can see the pain that she was in. That is just one example of the millions of individuals suffering from this disease. Everyone have one life to enjoy, I truly feel that if I am capable of finding a cure and erase this scare. I would love for a cure to be discovered sooner than later
You should never have to work a day in your life if you truly love what you’re doing. You should be excited to go to your job every day and do what you love. As long as you passionate about what you’re doing the income shouldn’t be a factor.
Every child gets asked what they want to be when they grow up. Some say they want to be astronauts and others say princesses. I would always say I wanted to become a doctor. As I grew older, I had never changed my mind. I hope to someday become a non-invasive Cardiologist. I chose this career because heart disease has become more of a concern in the past few years. Also, because I enjoyed working with the heart in previous medical classes I had taken in high school. I want to help people and give them a way to be healthier and live longer.
When I graduate high school I plan on attending UW Oshkosh and getting a degree in medical technology. With this degree I will be able to help the people in my community who are stuck in hospitals and get them on the path to recovery. Sitting in a lab, looking through a microscope all day may not seem like an exciting job, but it will allow me to give people second chances at life. It will not only enable me to help the people who are sick but their families as well. By helping the doctors diagnose different diseases, I will be able to save people's loved ones and allow their family to make more memories with them. I will be able to save people from the grief of losing a family member and give them hope for the future. With a degree in medical
Where do you think you will be doing in 10 years? In 10 years I at least want to be in medical school. I know it is a lot of school, but I will go through it to help people. If one day I could help someone through cancer or something it would make me feel amazing. I don't care about money or anything I care about the person's life. Some people don't end up with a job they love. I am willing to go through anything to be a surgeon. I am sure a lot of people are willing to go through anything to have the job they want. Being a surgeon is a lot of work and responsibility. The only way I won't become a surgeon is if I don't try and I will try until it happens.
I hope to possibly work for a sports team and or be employed at Kaiser as a sports or shoulder and ankle specialist. I have seen so many sports specialist, but every time I pay a visit I am fascinated with all the certain types of specialty doctors have. I want to be different from some doctors though. Instead of calling me Dr. Thai I would want people to address me as just Jason, for the reason I believe that titles create barriers. Ultimately, my biggest goal would to one day travel the world to third world countries to provide help to those in need. With the knowledge obtained from college, I could work with others to make the lives of other abroad a life worth living. I am not pursuing this career for the money, but for the reason that I may help those who may not even be able to afford doctors. My aspirations now were shaped by my favorite aunt. My aunt was a dentist who sacrificed time with her family to take care of mine. She would give everything to see my family happy. I remember she sang the song "My Heart Will Go On" as I played the song on my trumpet. She passed away a couple years ago, and I was unable to thank her for all she has done. When it is finally my turn to join her, I can finally tell her thank you. Her heart truly did go on, and I am ready to work hard to achieve my goals. For now I make progress day by
My sights have changed as I have gotten older. I no longer want to become a medical doctor. I may in the far future decide to become a doctor but I would rather be a registered nurse because they deal with the patients more. I also prefer working with pediatric or gereatric patients. Whatever way that I decide to go I will always be helping someone, somewhere.
My top career choice is a neurologist. I have chosen this career because not only is it financially rewarding, I can help people live a better life like I always dreamed of doing as a kid. I want to be the person to be recognized for saving lives. I know that this job would be a lot of hard work, but I think all my time would be worth it saving lives. The brain has always fascinated me since I was little, I was always eager to learn more, and discover more things. I realize that this would be a challenge, but it is a challenge I am up for!
I want to do many things in my future. As well as being a doctor who helps people, I want to live life and just be there. The future is
