Therefore school uniforms should be abolished from

Will Galloway, a Chairman of South Carolina Teenage Republicans stated that,” Rather than promote an orderly and disciplined student environment, mandatory uniforms would cause massive student disobedience and take away valuable instruction time.” Modern school uniforms are traced all the way back to the 16th Century England. The first US schools to have school uniforms was in Maryland and Washington, Dc in 1987. Schools should not have school uniforms because of cost and risk of bullying
Having school uniforms greatly decrease one’s way to get bullied. “Perhaps most importantly, a uniform means students don't have to worry about peer pressure when it comes to their clothes. When everyone is dressed the same, worrying about what you look like isn't so important. There is no competition about being dressed in the latest trend, which would put a great deal of financial pressure on students and parents. Potential bullies have one less target for their insults; it's hard to make fun of what someone is wearing when you're dressed exactly the same...” (Should Students Have to Wear School Uniforms?). With the same as gang violence, having uniforms does not get rid of bullying altogether. With my experiences in both non-uniform and uniform enforced schools, I saw far less bullying in schools with uniforms. Most of the bullying incidents I have seen are focused on the kid’s appearance due to clothing. Having the uniforms can help students look at each other in a more equal

“If you can’t buy me a uniform, then I’m going to kill myself,” stated a 13 year old boy. This Pakistani family needed to buy school uniforms for their children. But, this family like every other family who lives in their neighborhood, is dirt poor. They scrounge for little pieces of metal to sell for a piece of bread. If they can’t even buy food, they can’t afford more than one school uniform. Sadly, this boy covered himself in gas and set himself on fire. The poor boy suffered from 65% of his body burned. With his really bad burns he needed lots of treatment. His family was so poor they couldn't afford treatment of $5,500, the boy's family paid one-tenth. The untreatable boy passed away on the Saturday a week after he burned himself, says a police officer in Shabqadar ( 13 year old boy).
Make a visual that when the children get to school and they all have the same outfit on. Have you ever thought about how the kids feel about the uniforms? Do you like when you and you're bestfriend wear the same outfit? I don’t care honestly, I like to be unique and different from everyone else, but i'm not upset whenever someone dresses like I do. Well, in some schools kids don’t get to choose their outfits, the school gives them uniforms whenever they register for school. One bonus to schools providing uniforms is that kids won’t get bullied as much. One problem with that is kids won’t be able to express who they are.
I believe instead of fighting with the dress code, we should have to wear uniforms. Every morning when I wake up, I use most of my time picking out my clothes. If I have a uniform all I have to di is brush my teeth and tame my hair. I may be able to sleep in a little longer. The next important reason supporting my belief is that there are some kids who feel left out because they don’t have the latest pair of jean: not all kids have enough money to get the newest trend. Having uniforms would mean we all would look the same and no one will feel left out.
People always say be yourself, can't do that with uniforms. Schools should not have school uniforms because kids are being branded, and it takes away individuality. Kids are being forced to wear uncomfortable clothes because of principals feel. That kids should have to wear uniforms because they are worried kids are going to make fun of each other private schools that have uniforms usually cover up bullying. So do you think school uniforms are worth it.School uniforms strips away individuality and people can't be themselves, and wearing clothes that you like is certainly freedom of expression. So schools do not have the right to take away a right given to you.
I'm against uniforms. here are 3 reasons why I think we shouldn't wear uniforms. 1. I think student should be able to express their self with your clothes. 2. Some students want to wear polo. 3. Nice shoes some kids might get some new shoes and want to show them and the shoes cost 150$ and they only get to wear them for the weekend.
Uniforms are strictly enforced in schools and shouldn’t exist because they can lower kids self of steam, don’t effect how kids learn and are expensive.
School uniforms are ugly because they are dresses and I absolutly hate dresses. Dresses are uncomfortable and annoying because I don’t like how airy they are. They seem very uncomfortable because they can be pretty short. And the pattern on them can be really ugly.
