The Myers and Briggs Personality Type Inventory test assessed my personality type as an ENTJ, with an extravert of 72%, intuitive 38%, thinking 25%, and judging 44% (Humanmetrics Inc., 1998). A person with an ENTJ personality type is honest and has a preference for leadership. He or she is very constructive and will always follow the guidelines. Because, ENTJs enjoy order, if there is a flaw in a system, the ENTJ will implement a way to resolve that shortcoming. Additionally, ENTJs are very goal oriented, which leads them to develop long-term plans (The Myers & Briggs Foundation, 2014).
There are 4 Temperaments ranging from Guardian, Artisan, Idealist. and Rational. Upon taking the Jung Typology Test I received ENFJ or, Extravert, Intuitive, Feeling and Judging. (“Finding Your Passion,”2017).ENFJ would fall under the Idealist temperament. A moderate preference for Intuition over Sensing and Judging over Perceiving was established. ENFJ means my temperament is that of an idealist or a teacher. I am not surprised that I was matched with an idealist however, a teacher did take me a little by surprise. I always joke that I would love to be a motivational speaker however, I do not have enough patience to watch people continue to make poor decisions without offering some not so constructive criticism. ENFJs are described as warm, compassionate, and supportive, as well as loyal and trustworthy. These are all words that I would describe myself as, my most important characteristic being my loyalty in friendship. My type description also proclaims that I am “highly attuned to others; their empathy enables [me] to quickly understand emotional needs, motivations, and concerns.” No other description of me could be truer. Among the 16 types I categorized under the personality ENTP: Extraverted, iNtuitive, Thinking, Perceiving. ENTPs are usually verbally as well as cerebrally quick, and generally love to argue--both for its own sake, and to show off their debating skills. This is something that could be changed in a leadership environment. ENTPs tend to have a perverse sense of humor as well, and enjoy playing devil's advocate. This sometimes confuses, even angers, those who don't understand or accept the concept of argument as a sport. ENTPs are basically optimists, but in spite of this (perhaps because of it?), they can become petulant about small setbacks and inconveniences. (Major setbacks they regard as challenges, and tackle with determination.) ENTPs have little patience with those they consider wrongheaded or unintelligent, and show little restraint in demonstrating this. In general, however, they are genial, even charming, when not being harassed by life. ENTPs may sometimes give the impression of being largely oblivious to the rest of humanity except as an audience: good, bad, or potential. In general, this is unfair – but it can be difficult to get an ENTP’s attention when they’re not immediately aware of you, especially for an

Since the personality of one is totally different from each other. ENTJ are the authoritative type that wants to know what should be accomplished, how to accomplish it and then doing what it takes to accomplish it. While the ISFJ are more inclined to dealing with whatever the current situation is and carrying it out grace and effectiveness. There is something about ENTJ and a ISFJ that just doesn't click. ISFJ sometimes think that ENTJ are too confrontational- which can make an ISFJ defensive and want to fight back, they usually always end up arguing with each other. ISFJ are looked at as being too emotional, as they think that ENTJ’s don't show enough

I sat down and actually took the personality test with my best friend. She wanted to compare our personalities. Apparently, I have a protagonist ENFJ-T personality. The letters stand for extraversion, intuition, feeling, and judgement. Okay, I thought. So, I read up on it. My friend did not tell me what her personality was, but I can interpret how we connect because of who I am. Protagonists are natural-born leaders, full of passion and charisma. I thought to myself, hmm I am not so sure if that is what I think about myself. So, I did some more reading and then it made sense to me.
