I would least want to work with the clients who wish to do abortions. Based on my Christian faith, I believe that it is a sin to abort an unborn baby. The fact that I take part in the decision making put me in the position of a sinner. I feel that this could affect my spirituality as a dedicated Christian. For the sake of maintaining my commitment to my Christian faith, I would rather not deal with abortion-related problems.
Abortion is killing innocent children and affecting the lives of many women across the United States. These actions speak words loudly saying, I don't want the child so I’m taking the easy way out and killing the baby. Abortion is just another excuse to not take responsibility for the actions you took. The United States should make abortion illegal. Abortion is wrong because there are many different options other than killing the baby, it is unsafe for the woman, and women that have had abortions live with that fact every day physically and emotionally.
How would you feel if your life were to be taken away without a choice? It’s unfair and unjust to end the life of any innocent human being. Babies have no say in whether they get to choose a future for themselves. Every person deserves their right to live, and no one should have the ability to take that right away. Abortion is harmful and wrong because it is immoral to kill an innocent human being, carries out many risks that affect the mother’s health physically and mentally, and is selfish for many reasons.
Imagine if someone you know or even you got their lives taken just by someones decision. It would be extremely painful and sad for you, and very selfish of that person, right? When a mother has an abortion, they are killing a life, a little girl or boy fetus. With a beating heart that didn't even get a chance to take its first breath. Now tell me about how that isn't somewhat selfish and wrong? Their whole future is destroyed. I think abortion is wrong when committed for a selfish reason.
Finer, L. B., Frohwirth, L. F., Dauphinee, L. A., Singh, S., & Moore, A. M. (2005). Reasons U.S. women have abortions: Quantitative and qualitative perspectives. Perspectives on Sexual and Reproductive Health, 37(3), 110-8.
Abortion is the termination of a pregnancy during and no later than the first 26 weeks of pregnancy. According to Planned Parenthood “3 in 10 women in the U.S. will have an abortion by the time they’re 45 years old” (“Why do people decide to have an abortion?”). With the advances in medicine over the past years, abortions can now be done outside of clinics. There are two methods for terminating pregnancies. The most recent innovation is the abortion pill. This method begins with someone taking the pill at an clinic, and then continuing the termination in their home or other private location. The other method that’s been around for quite a while is the surgical procedure.
How does a child enter this world? Well, answers can vary. Most of the time, the child is born into a loving home that has anticipated his or her arrival for months. Other times, a child may be born into a loosely structured family that has no idea how to raise it. In more rare cases, a baby could be born into a dangerous environment; especially if it was conceived by rape or by people engaging in an abusive relationship. People cringe when they hear of a child being abused or neglected, but they never ask themselves how all of that suffering could have been avoided. Although some people may not agree, availability of abortion exercises women 's rights, saves children from a life of foster care or orphanages, and from unfit parents.
In a longitudinal study consisting of 4,008 women whom have been raped once in their lifetime defined rape “as nonconsensual assault with force or threat of force and some type of sexual penetration of the victim’s vagina, rectum or mouth” (SOURCE 1). Consisting of three waves in 1990, 1991, 1992, researchers found that those who became pregnant as a result of rape knew who their perpetrator was. “Majority of rape related pregnancies involved a known perpetrator rather than a stranger. Boyfriend, 29.4%; husband, 17.6%; friend 14.7%; other relative, 11.8%, stranger and known, nonrelative 8.8%, father-stepfather, 5.9%; unknown-refused 2.9%.” Much like previous studies claiming acquaintance and partner rape is most common, this study supports
The New York Times. Why I am Pro-Life. October 27 2012. To name something is to own it; therefore to name an issue means you can own it. Calling someone “right wing” simply because they are pro-lie is rather far from the truth as is calling someone “left wing” because they support pro-choice. Truth is you can be one without the other as Thomas L. Friedman explains as he talks about how pro-life is more to him than “To abort or not to abort.” It’s also on having a higher quality of life for people in America and the world over. While it should be a woman’s right to control her body and to prevent the birth of a child of rape or incest or if the child endangers the mother’s life there is still no reason to use it as a form of birth control when
Abortion is a sore topic that is usually two sided,. Meaning a person is either pro-choice or pro-life. Pro-choice believe that it is the woman's decision to have an abortion because it is her body. Pro-life believe that abortion is always wrong no matter what the circumstance is. According to Journalist Beverly Kemp, Abortion is being used as a form of birth control especially by teenagers. Abortion is not something to be taken lightly, and with each abortion there can be detrimental effects to the woman’s body and mind. I hope to see a change in abortion laws so that they are more realistic. While I do not believe abortions should be legal i do understand that many others believe the woman has the right to do whatever
Why do women get abortions? This question is very hard to answer but their maybe reasons behind this. Many women have their own reasons as to why they choose to get an abortion or if they choose not to. Even though abortion is legalized, their are many questions as to if they should still keep it legalized or make it illegal. Most women faced with this situation, tend to go against abortion. Many women believe that this is not the right thing to do and should go against it. (Frick) Research has stated that their has been a decrease in the amount of abortions, but it still shows a large amount annually. Their are several things that can be done to decrease abortion but it just needs the cooperation from everyone.
My research essay will discuss the controversial topic of a women’s right to make the decision to have an abortion. I will analyze many aspects of abortion such as, the history, government interference, possible limitations on the amount, cost, if it should be discussed in schools, the ban of Plan B, statistics, moral standpoint, protestors, role in other countries and the role it plays in our society. Overall, I believe that women should have the right to choose to have an abortion or not. This is a touchy and personal subject that has been debated for decades. Complex topics always intrigue me and provide me with the opportunity to enhance my knowledge. By choosing this I’m able to see other points of views and angles that perhaps I was unable
No matter what time or what place of the year people have medical emergencies. But these things do not happen quit so often. But when you have an abortion these medical emergencies happen more often then you would expect. There are, “Women who have had a first full-term pregnancy at an early age have reduced risks of breast, ovarian and endometrial cancer. Furthermore, the risks of these cancers decline with each additional full-term pregnancy,”(Abortion Risks). When people have abortion before they actually birth other children their breasts will not get to fully mature and could cause disease like breast cancer. From one surgery to another, this shows that abortion just causes more and more problems. Also “Fetal parts or other products
What i’m going to talk about is abortion. Abortion is something that I am against. Killing a human being that has not even entered this world is cruel. There should be nothing in your mind to tell you to kill this innocent child. I do not get how someone could think it is okay to do that. Abortion is not okay. It's technically the same thing as murder. I’m on the conservative side, only because I do not believe in abortion I will never have a abortion period. The three reasons why i’m taking this stance is because I do not believe in abortion, I think that killing a baby is being cruel and ungrateful for what God blessed you with, lastly how could you call a baby a fetus.
It is considered by World Health Organization that one fourth of all the progenies in the world terminate in induced abortion. More precisely, the number of induced abortion is nearly 50 million every year(Berer, M., 2000 ). Induced abortion means “abortion brought on deliberately by drugs or mechanical means” (Stedman, T. L.,2008). It can be defined as an abortion that is preceded initiatively, which is opposite to spontaneous abortion. According to World HeaWHO
In today’s world abortion is a big issue for woman concerning the fact that for years it had been said that abortion should not be legal, but some people believe it should. Many people feel aborting an unwanted child, or killing an unwanted child should be against the law and which I feel it should be illegal. Many people don't' even know what an abortion is, or who can receive abortions. I feel a woman's body is her own, and can do whatever she wants with it, but I also think that babies life shouldn’t be taken away either just because of someone’s decision. So therefore I’m against it.
