Why I Choose The Army

Serving in the United States Army through Army ROTC scholarship is the first step in the assuring that my future is headed in the right direction. Because of the heavy investment that is done by the United States government and citizens for . Serving my country with pride and duty in our future is a big honor. It allows me to experience a regimented, disciplined and honorable welcoming into adulthood. I will be fully prepared to maximize any opportunity that comes my way.

Serving the United States Military comes with many responsibilities as well as pressure and accountability. However, the military isn’t for everyone, but it offers so much for those who serve. One thing that must be known and dealt with is that this career could be a life threatening one, and there are many obstacles one must go through beforehand.

I would stay in the continental Army during the revolution despite the death and sickness. I would stay because of how low the percent of death and sickness was, i am apart of something huge for my country, and we were still winning battles even though many of the soldiers were sick. According to Document A, about 49% of the army were getting sick. Even though this is a large percentage the amount of people that were fine is slightly larger at 51%. The U.S Military is very one of the biggest and strongest branches ever in the US Especially The US Army Branch is why I chose this specific branch,It was started in June 14,1775.But as becoming a Soldier you would have to be a strong minded individual entering this stage is just pretty much something really big to take into ,You can make this out of a life long career into this with plenty of opportunities in life as being a Soldier,There are two options when your are signing your contract you can either go Active Duty or Reserves,when you are choosing your job while being evaluated for your jobs there are so many jobs you can choose from or help being it chosen for.

If you were asked to walk 18 miles outside of Philadelphia, in the winter time with disease and death all around , would you say yes? To say yes meant you were committing to a team, to fight , and win the war.There would be hard times but to win the war at the end would be a big success. George Washington commanded his army to go on this journey. To say no to this you would be safe, but you would not gain wisdom and strength. I would want to leave with the soldiers because I could help the sick and injured while being a part of a team to fight for the country's rights.

There are a lot of graduates fresh out of high schools that make the decision to use the military. There are some people that join the military because that is a fast and easy choice for them. The military gives everyone a wide variety of options. College for instance, the military allows you to serve your country and still have time to attend college and get a degree if you choose to do that. People that choose to join the military get the option to go to college anytime they feel during their military career. The military pays for part or all the tuition.
