He says nothing for a long moment, preparing his thoughts before speaking. “It has been confirmed that hours before you arrived, Scelestus City was in a nuclear explosion, destroying everything and everyone, including the hundreds of Order soldiers in the city,” he begin, firmly. “Also the lab, that Jensen and all your friends testify being real, was also destroyed in the blast. My question for you is, why would the Order destroy their own lab?”
“Why ask me?” I throw back. “Ask your son.”
“Because you have the answer,” Samuel says, coldly. “So why did the Order destroy their own lab?”
“Have you considered that the nuke wasn’t the Orders,” I answer. “They didn’t even know about the nuke. The Order sent troops into Scelestus City to clear

What is it?” I ask, interested and eager. He doesn’t give me an answer, not that I’m surprised.
He remains silent for a few minutes before says, “It seems we both want something from each other and we can actually be civil about this, instead of you attacking my men.”
“You mean Kane and his friends attacking me,” I correct.
He ignores me, continuing. “You want information and I want you…”
“Gone,” I finish.
“Yes. I will provide all the supplies and transportation you need to leave here safely, including the information you want, but in return you must cut all ties with my son and your friends,” Samuel offers.
It’s a good offer but…
“How do I know you won’t just kill me?”
Samuel scoffs, shaking his head. “If I did somehow manage to kill you, Jensen would never forgive me and I can’t have that.”
This confuses me. “Why? He already believes you hate him and he’ll never been good enough for you.”
“I do not hate my son, I hate his choices, but I know once you’re out of the way, he will return to the son I raised.”
“Are you so sure about that?” I challenge. “Even if I do what you say and I leave, I don’t think his opinions and actions are going to change. Actually, I wouldn’t be surprised, if your plan backfired and he did the exact opposite of what you want. I know Jensen. He’s a good person. And maybe if you were too, we won’t be having this conversion.”
Samuel’s expression darkens as he stands up,
“Ender looked at the others coldly. “You might be having some idea of ganging up on me …. But just remember what I do to people who try to hurt me.”
“The doctors told us that you might never remember. And we figured that that was the best way to handle the situation.” He shook his head sadly. “We wanted to find a way to keep you from always hating your brother.” I answered, “So you figured it would be better if I just hated myself?”
"But you planned the battle. I'm sure that my companions will agree with me that this fact invalidates you as commander of the army."
“I want this damn mess cleaned up by nightfall! You understand me?” says the LT.
“Right is right. I will not murder but I am walking out with the orbs. You are defeated.”
Stanford, who is confused about what is going on, asks “Hold on Jamie. What would make you think that something is going to happen?”
“Be careful, he’s not like us. I don’t want to see you get roped into anything.”
“I don’t know,” I said to him. This was my honest answer. The surrounding troops said nothing.
“ The radiation, i- its genetically modifying humans until they go crazy and attack each other.” Rich said , saddened.
“You don’t want to kill me, Noah.” You warn, your voice low. “They’ll never forgive you if you kill me.”
“I’m saying I’m sorry that I can’t be what you need.” Her mouth opens to reply. I cover her mouth with a finger, forbidding her to interrupt. “I don’t think I have it in me. I’m not built that way,” I tell her.
"Oh you know. You deafening your fathers land alone, and then there's the fact that you refuse to leave, even though my family lives on the other side of your boarder" Fredrick replies.
"That's why I went to Morgana in the first place. I don't even know who killed him, I was just frightened and angry. I needed someone to blame."
"I know, but, like, are there... enemies of the Assassins?" I only asked because my Instinct had already answered my question. I just wanted him to clarify it, and he knew that.
“I can’t do it.” Spike said, “That guy will kill me if he ever sees my face again.”
