Alexander the Great: villain Alexander the great is a villain because he killed many people, destroyed cultures, and was hungry for power. Alexander the great is a villain because he killed many people . Alexander killed people from different cultures and his own. According to Alexander the Great part one, “Alexander had someone kill his father for Alexander.”(7:48). The only reason why Alexander wanted his father gone is because he wanted the power now. Why would someone just go and kill their father just to have power? This proves that he cared more about his evil desire than he cared about his father. If he had patience, he would be king eventually. According to Alexander the Great part two, “ Alexander told his soldiers to go kill people in the city sometimes after a battle.” (8:18) After battles Alexander would let his men run wild and go kill people from the cities. After the battle of Tyre he killed mostly men, but he already won that battle so why would he kill all those innocent people. The battle of Gaza he killed every single man in the city and the soldiers. So Alexander killed innocent people. …show more content…

He destroyed religions and overpowered 32 cultures. According to BBC News, “ ``cxc emblems of Zoroastrianism were attacked and destroyed.” This proves that he didn’t really care about the cultures and what they believed. He was just doing this to show his power but that wasn’t the right way you don’t just go and destroy stuff just for power. According to Alexander the Great part 1, “Alexander overpowered 32 cultures.” This proves that all he wanted to do is have power, but to overpower all those cultures he had to kill a lot of people. He was selfish to just kill people to rule. He didn’t care for risking people's lives he just ruled
