At around 4 a.m. on January 31st outside of an Atlanta nightclub where a post Super Bowl party was winding down, an argument broke out between two groups. The altercation escalated from verbal to physical when one man struck another over the head with a champagne bottle. The actions to take place in the following chaotic moments were fast and furious, and it seems no two eyewitnesses saw the same thing. What is conclusive about the outcome is that a limousine sped away, gunshots were fired at it, and Jacinth Baker and Richard Lollar died from multiple stab wounds. If convicted along with his two friends, Ray Lewis of the Baltimore Ravens will go from three-time All-Pro to lifetime inmate.

Emmett Till was visiting relatives in Money, Mississippi and went into a small store, but no one really knows what happened. His friends said that they heard him whistle at the white woman but he had a stutter as a young boy and his family taught him to whistle before he was about to say a hard word, some may say that he was whistling because of his stutter but others do not think that he was whistling because of his stutter. Emmett Till was then brutally beaten and murdered. They would not have been able to identify his body but he had a ring on that had given to him just a while before. Emmett Till may have been punished for a

The two first worked together to produce the 2014 Annie remake, and now they are reportedly working on a miniseries about Emmett Till. The miniseries will broadcast on HBO, and it will chronicle the brutal murder of the 14-year old teenager in 1955. Till was allegedly flirting with a white woman, and he was murdered by the woman's husband and his half-brother in Mississippi. Both men were found not guilty of the killing Till, but they later confessed to killing the teenager. The law doesn't allow for one to be tried again for a crime he or she is found not guilty of, and so the men never served time for the
When analyzing the case of Randy Jones, it is necessary to piece together the meaning behind each of his actions in order to understand his mental status at the time of the murders. According to the two psychologists who examined Jones, he suffers from Antisocial Personality Disorder, APD. APD is a personality disorder actually listed in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. So according to the Psychologists he does have a mental disorder. This type of mental disorder is characterized by repeatedly infringing on the rights of others; including behaviors such as aggressiveness, deceitfulness, impulsivity, recklessness, lack of remorse and failure to conform to social norms. I agree with the psychologists that Jones does have a mental disorder. Jones killed five women over the course of six years. Society does not approve of killing another human being but rather condemn it, this is a failure to conform to the norms of society. By only targeting women this narrows down his trigger to women. Jones doesn’t just kill these women but he mutilates them afterward, showing an anger or rage that is so strong it continues after his victim is dead. The incident with the police officer contributes to his state of mind during the commission of the crime. Jones was able to elude the police officer, thus displaying his deftness in persuasion and deceit. He was able to remain calm and collected in an extremely when he got pulled over with a victim in his
Travis got so angry that he seemed to shoot Eckles and kill him. This proves that Travis gets angry over little accidents because a normal person with no anger issues would just make Eckles pay a large fine, not kill

The entire premise of the film seems to revolve around Clay Arlington losing his identity and gaining a new one from his counterpart half-brother. To create a sense of doubt about your own identity. It wants you to question how much of our identity is formed by our environment. But the question I want to ask is how much of our identities are ours alone? And does it even matter? Dr. Shinoda makes a concluding statement about Clay's happiness at the end of the film "... it will be false, empty, for he has buried the wrong life, the wrong past, buried his soul...". Is this statement really true? While this movie does not put a heavy focus on this aspect of identity, it does leave a number of clues.
Art is dead because artist are dying. On February 5th, 2012 a defenses boy by the name of Trayvon Martin was shot dead in the streets out of racist ideals. This was the spark that erupted the Black Lives Matter movement. A slightly edited version of the story unraveled on the daily news. Disappointment devoured my father’s face and he said with strain: “The only crime we commit is exciting” he had said. At the age of 12, I was befuddled by this use of “we”. Who are “we”? I would soon painfully find out that “we” is me, is black people.
Murder is the unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another. Manslaughter is the crime of killing a human being without intent. " If I broke a person's neck for no reason I'd be charged in minutes. But the system...protects the police no matter how blatant and brutal they are"(Watkins). Watkins is comparing his consequences of committing a crime compared to a cop consequences for committing a crime. Murder, manslaughter, and other criminal acts are still unlawful regardless if it was committed by a cop. There should not be any exceptions to laws based on who violates the law. In agreement with what Watkins said, if he was to defy laws he would be convicted quickly. Why should cops be treated any differently from Watkins? In Freddie
