As you grow older, you begin to realize that the world doesn't revolve around you. You find that the people that most influence you influence others even more. That's why Jennifer is my hero; a hero of others. Most of all, Jennifer is a natural leader. One of her greatest leadership roles is being my churches youth director. She organizes all of our Sunday schools, mission trips, youth groups, youth Sundays, etcetera. Through both of the mission trips I've been on, Jennifer was there for me and all the kids we worked with. When I needed help or wasn't able to do something, she would guide me through, and she would do the same for everyone else. Jennifer leads every single youth group at our church and directs us through each time. Other
To begin one of my heroes comes from one of my favorite shows Naruto. Rock Lee is a fictional character that has been a gigantic inspiration to me personally. Since I started to watch this series I have been motivated to workout and get in shape. Rock Lee’s character connects with me since he has acquired his mental and physical strength from hard work which correlates with what I am doing. Emotional Rock Lee is my hero for giving me the ambition to complete my goals and dreams. Also, not just sitting there waiting for things to happen for me. My hero is relatable to what I am doing now (working out) and can be relatable to anyone who is trying to start from the bottom then work their way to the top. Rock Lee’s emotional effect on my life as a hero has been strength and guidance. Without this sudden inspiration, my entire lifestyle would be different, I would just be playing basketball occasionally, watching Youtube and eating unhealthy. Rock Lee has helped me turn my life around. If I ever feel like I need a boost of motivation or joy, I remember Rock Lee. All in all, being a hero isn’t always saving the day; a hero can help put you on the right track by saving you in the long run.
Heroes are people that risk their own life to save others or themselves from an attacker. Connie in the short story, “Where are You Going, Where Have You Been?’, has a family and one day she was home alone and a guy named Arnold shows up and starts talking to her about her family and she becomes freaked out and scared by it. Arnold’s friends show up and won’t leave her sight until she leaves with him at the end. Connie calmly said to Arnold’s friends “No, I have better things to do (Oats 7) so nothing would turn out worse than it already was. Connie noticed that something was up with Arnold’s friends showing up at her house because they knew what her parents were doing and also knew where they were at as well.
A hero is someone you look up to. Who’s your hero? Who do you look up to? “I love my hero to Neptune and back!” My hero, Tasha Young, came from a poor family, works hard and survived cancer. My hero is the oldest of five kids, she didn’t graduate high school and she was a single parent. My mom, Tasha Young, is my hero.
I think johnny is the hero because he saved all of those kids who he could have let them die but he didn’t he sacrificed his life to save their lives but he did because he didn’t want them to die but it ended up backfiring on him and since he broke his back in the church it caused him to to stay in the hospital and he died after the rumble when they were visiting him but ponyboy is a hero to because he helped the kids to but he just got a big bruise on his back he did not end up like johnny did but he was sick all ready and and he also went and participated in the rumble and he has had the roughest week of his life ever and two of his friend have died.

One person’s hero might seem just like another ordinary person to another. My father might not be world famous but to me he’s just as much much a hero to me then any one of those people. Everyday he works; to make sure that I have an opportunity to succeed in life, have a happy life, and be able to grow as a person.
Have you ever wondered what makes a hero? What makes other people think of this person as a hero? A hero isn't born overnight, a hero doesn't only do one small thing and he becomes known as one. Hero’s are made up of many characteristics. They are made up of many events in time that they did something that influenced people or the world. There are some things you can do to become more of a hero, to become known as someone who helps people in their lives or helps the community.
Anyone who influences anyone else by saving or helping save his or her lives can be a hero. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. changed the lives of millions of people by bringing justice to minorities. Mahatma Gandhi, one of the greatest heroes, led a nonviolent revolution to free his country. Even a parent can be a hero to his or her child by leading them in the right direction. All teachers are heroes when they make it their job to teach a child anything that will help them in life. You don’t have to go to great lengths by risking your life to make a difference in someone else’s life.
Johnny is a hero because he cares about others. The first example of this is when he woke Ponyboy up, so he would not get in trouble for getting home too late. Johnny said, “ I went to sleep too, listening to you rattle on and on. You’d better get home” (49). Johnny cares about Ponyboy getting home on time and not being too late. Johnny does not want Pony to get in trouble with his brothers. Furthermore, here is another example of how Johnny is a caring person. Johnny rushes into a burning church to save kids he does not even know without hesitating. Pony watched him as he went, “He looked over his shoulder and saw that the door was blocked by flames, then pushed open the window and tossed out the nearest kid” (92). Johnny cares about the kids even though he has no clue who they are, and he ends up saving them.
Since Jennifer was the senior person in the campus and first female interim vice president that has been appointed to this position, she should already understand the organization culture and try to adjust herself with the new culture, gain ‘trust’ from others especially from the new president and others team members. To lead is to influence others. Jennifer needs to influence the president and others to understand and agree about what needs to be done and how they can work as a team to accomplish the campus objectives, mission and vision.
Heros come and heros go, heros die and some heros have grown old, for someone you know and someone you don’t be that
Sometimes we are not there to help and rely on others to help- we trust them. And sometimes, we can’t help ourselves and need them. “A life not lived for others is not a life.” (Mother Teresa) Mother Teresa gave her life to helping others and that is what heros do. They know they cannot save everyone so they start with just one person however small that help may be and continue to the next person doing all they can.”Not all of us can do great things but we can do small things with great love.” (Mother Teresa) Heros can be of any shape size gender or color. a hero is not defined by their looks but by their actions, choices, and deeds. A hero does not need to save a hundred lives or even one, they are there to give not take, to love not hurt, heros are the people that make the world a much better place and don’t give up on anyone.Heros surround us every day- their works are not shown for all the world to see- they were only meant for that one person they helped and sometimes for that group of people and sometimes a few words to inspire the whole world person by
