If I had to describe myself I would say I am a hard worker and love to learn. I like trying new things whether its food, products, or just new experiences as a whole. I additionally, really like organizing and designing as well. 2. How do I create? (Creative process, workflow, specific project you want to showcase.) My creative process kind of changes depending on what I’m working on, like most people it all starts with inspiration. Depending where I am at I’ll either write my ideas on my phone or in a notebook to remember and when I’m home I start on drawing out my ideas in thumbnails. From my thumbnails, I choose the best qualities or try mixing certain parts from the strongest ones together. After getting my composition together I start creating it in the Creative Cloud suite from Adobe and work on making it a strong design and finalizing the design, then I ask friends or fellow designers on thoughts and possible revisions. …show more content…
(Family members, an important event in life, hobbies, etc.) What inspires me can be a variation of things, I get inspired from talking to others about trends, ideas and life or by looking at apps such as pinterest, behance, Instagram as well as dribble and seeing other creative designers and artist art works. Inspiration; a word we use to define a feeling of wanting to do more, especially something creative. To ask a high school student like myself, a question as to who inspires me, you would think I would have the answer to this question without much thought. Growing up, everyone has had that one person who they look up to. This person inspires them to push themselves to do better - be better. People today excel in just about everything, but when you ask them how they reached that point, they will undoubtedly give you someone’s name.
I am Aliyah Shaleese Crawley. I’m just a small town girl. I was born in Fayetteville on September 18, 2001 and was raised in Lake Waccamaw with my mom, dad, and older sister, Amanda. As a baby, I was always bouncing on my bed, looking over the rail. I was constantly smiling with a red rash under my nose from allergies.When I upgraded out of my pen, I was happy playing with my blocks on the regular making houses with them for my dolls play with and sometimes, I'd go organize the tupperware cabinet. In this critical autobiography, I will be evaluating myself and trying to understand who I am, why I am this way, and what made me this way. Personal Characteristics Race To start off, I am white. Living in America, that is the majority of people and to me, I am exactly like every other race. Though it has been proven that to others, my race or skin color makes me higher than someone else, especially when it comes to applying to colleges or getting a job. My mother always taught me that while nobody is better than me, I am not better than anyone else, and that is what I choose to live by.
The source of my artistic inspiration would have to be my family and myself. My family has always been there for me and motivated me to pursue art as a career. Their support for my craft serves as one of my biggest inspirations I make art to make them proud. I too inspire myself to make art, I am excited by my development as an artist and I know that I can only improve with time. At this point in my life, I make art because it is a part of me I draw something almost every day or I feel unsatisfied with myself and the way I am spending my time. Some nights I stay awake excited to draw or make something the next day and this has been happening more frequently.
What comes to mind when someone asked you about yourself? Do you give a simple “I’m a Student at such and such” or “I go shopping on my spare time” But what about the deeper meaning about it? How would you react if someone asked deeper questions that would never come pass your mind on any given day? Will you be willing to go that extra mile to dig deep within to talk about yourself? Who knows maybe you’ll find a common interest once things are all said and done. Maybe you’ll come out in the end knowing more about yourself which may surprise you.
When I think of who inspired me? , I believe there are a lot of things and people that come to mind. These include life events or people or something I just learned from watching someone doing inspired me and taught me a lot.
