For me, the most important thing a company should focus on their website is the “you attitude”. If it is done correctly and clear, the customers will continue to be attracted to visiting the website and using that company. If it is flat out incorrect and not use effectively, the website and company will suffer. If the audience does not feel like their needs are being aided or feel like they are not important to the company, they will simply stop visiting the website and company. The company I decided to analyze for my assignment is Whataburger. The website’s “you view” is a very customer friendly and inviting. If you are looking to maybe get a job with Whataburger, on the career tab the first thing you notice is the title that says “Do work that makes you proud”. Before they even talk about the company, they are already appealing to the potential applicant’s ego. They also use positive words and capitalize them to attract the reader to them. The combination of these things makes the reader unknowingly feel welcomed and attentive. Throughout their website, they have multiple ways a customer can communicate with them and interact with other customers as well. In their food tab, they show some of the latest Facebook’s post and tweets of customers in a section called “From the Fans”. This lets the customers know they care about their opinion and value it. They also have a survey tab that lets the customers file any complaints or positive thoughts about their experience at their local Whataburger. Other interactions they have available are a brief history of the company and a community tab. The community tab is great because they showcase past donations and ways they have helped the communities and also gives the option to apply for aid. This makes the visitor know that Whataburger does care about them. All throughout the website Whataburger’s message and information are very clear and direct. They keep their writing short and to the point. They do not make the reader feel lost or
