What do you do if you are involved in an accident, first call the police if it is serious enough, second do not flee, that will result in a 3rd degree felony. Always follow the 5 steps required by law when coming up to a crash or being involved in a crash. 1. Stop immediately: you will be penalised, for not stopping at a crash, with fees reaching up to 2500$, and possibly 1 year of jail time. 2. Render Aid: If you are trained in first aid, administer it, or if possible try and find someone that is trained in it. Until more advanced medical help arrives, you should not move severely injured victims. It is your responsibility if they are injured to figure out transportation to medical services, and or call the cops/ambulance. 3. What i have learned from this is that it is important to work together on the roads and keep in mind that if we do it works to keep the roads a better place. Remember that when driving you are putting your live, and others in jeopardy, and anybody/everybody is at risk while driving. Remember to stop and check the scene of an accident and follow those 5 steps, after all it could happen to you and you might want others to stop for you.
