W.Disney moved from Chicago to California to pursue his love of drawing. A fun fact that I did’t know was Walt tried to join the military but he was rejected because he was too young. So basically if he would have went to the military we would not have Mickey or anything else Walt Disney name is tied to now a days. Walt Disney was a great at everything that he wanted to accomplish. Weather it was doing voice overs, drawing, animation, film producing or story telling. Disney met Iwerks at his first job, among other colluges like Charles Mintz who also leaves to start his own company but without Walt. Disney and Iwerks along with Walts brother Roy left the current job at the newspaper to start their own studio called the Disney Brother Studios.. Iwerks and Walt created a character called Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Walt soon discovers that Charles had stolen the rights to Oswald and so Disney had to create something. Oswald didn’t really look like a rabbit if you was to ask me but okay. Oswald like to cause trouble and mischief. It was December 1901, when my first younger sibling was born., I have always been the youngest of the family so I didn't know what to expect when my parents said they were having another child. Would my new baby brother be really annoying? Would he cry all night long? These are all questions I had yet to know the answer to. But when my little brother, Walter Elias Disney, was born, I knew he was unique in some odd way. He was way more artistic then than the rest of us. Walt enjoyed drawing, but father did not really approve of this. When Walt was 10 years old and I was 18, our family had to move to Kansas City because our father became very sick and could no longer take control of our farm. After Walt met Ub Iwerk they became good friends they started their own company together. The business wasn’t doing too well so it closed after a month. Walt got another job at Kansas City Slides he learned almost everything about animation there. Walt started another company on his own hired a few men including Ub Iwerks. Walt made a new cartoon and decided to make a real person voice the character, but it was never finished because the company went bankrupt. Still Walt didn’t give-up instead he moved to Hollywood. When Walt finally got to Hollywood he teamed up with his brother Roy Disney and opened the Disney Brothers Studio. They made short animated films about a lucky bunny named Oswald and this time they succeeded. Then hardship settled, most of the Disney’s artist that drew Oswald left because someone else contracted them. The company stole Disney’s artist right along with Oswald. That was actually one of best things to happen to Disney without that happening Mickey Mouse would have never been created. One of Disney’s loyal artist was Lillian Bounds which leads us into the next reason I think Walt Disney should be on a
