He sees his beloved inside and hears her say his name. He shouts out to her and they profess their love for one another. They both decide to marry each other. Romeo then goes to Friar Lawrence (his good friend and confessor) to ask him to help him arrange a marriage in secret. Next, Benvolio and Mercutio encounter Tybalt, who is still angered about Romeo attending the party, decides to challenge him to a duel. This now shows that Tybalt will not let the romantic lovers get off his mind and that even in act 2 he still wants to kill Romeo. Tybalt is only leading to Romeo’s death as well as trying to be the one to kill him. Unfortunately for Tybalt he does not kill Romeo but, at the dual Tybalt kills Mercutio (Romeo’s best friend) which sets off Romeo causing him to kill Tybalt. Romeo now has to run off into another town. This loses his communication with his priest, who sent him a letter to say they were faking Juliet’s death in order to protect him. When he finds out she is ‘dead’ he loses all faith in life and kills
In Act 3, Mercutio and Benvolio are out walking in Verona. Benvolio asks Mercutio to go inside before an incident like before happens again with the Capulet. Mercutio tells him to stop criticizing others and that not all Capulet are going to want to start a fight. Tybalt then enters the scene. Tybalt approaches the two Montague men and asks to speak with one of them. Mercutio, not very happy with Tybalt speaking to them, starts to mess with him. Romeo enters next. Tybalt starts talking to Romeo and calls him a villain. Romeo tries to keep peace with Tybalt as he asks Romeo to draw his sword. Mercutio decides to fight Tybalt since Romeo does not want to. The two men fight. Romeo interferes and tries to stop the fight. In doing so, Tybalt was able to get under Romeo’s arm and stab Mercutio, killing him. Before passing, Mercutio curses both families and Tybalt runs off. Romeo wants revenge on Tybalt. When Tybalt comes back, Romeo draws his sword and the two of them fight. Romeo ends up killing Tybalt and Benvolio tells him to leave the scene before many people start to notice. The prince enters the scene. Benvolio explains what happened. He also explains that Romeo was trying to keep peace, but Lady Capulet thinks he is lying. Prince decides to exile Romeo from Verona instead of giving death as a punishment.
During Act 3, Scene 1, a brawl occurs between Mercutio and Tybalt. In this, Tybalt ends up killing Mercutio by stabbing him from under Romeo’s arm as Romeo tried to stop the fight. Out of revenge for Mercutio’s death, Romeo kills Tybalt. Prince Escalus arrives along with some of the Capulets and Montagues to enquire into the deaths of Tybalt and Mercutio. Benvolio explains what happened and The Prince decided to sentence Romeo to exile from Verona. Romeo deserved to be banished from Verona because he committed murder, which is a serious crime and putting Romeo to death would have escalated the feud between the families.
The next day, Benvolio and Romeo have an encounter with Tybalt, who is still out to get Romeo for crashing the Capulet’s party. When Romeo refuses to duel with Tybalt, Mercutio steps in and accepts the duel. This duel, however, ultimately led to the killing of Mercutio by Tybalt. Tybalt's violence leads to chaos in between the two bickering families. Tybalt is to blame for their deaths as his violent tendencies had chain reactions. Tybalt's hatred for the Montagues is strong as he feels like they are a threat to the Capulets.

He then meets eyes with the daughter of Capulet, Juliet, dancing in the middle of the party. The two are quickly separated after Romeo dances with Juliet. They find each other yet again and sneak away into a room where Romeo seduces Juliet into the touching of hands and a kiss. Only after the end of the party do both of them learn each other’s names. This causes a ripple effect which leads them to become married the day after by Friar Lawrence. Their newfound love connection with each other becomes so strong to the point that if one of the lovers dies, the other would kill him or herself in order to be with them in an afterlife. Only after the marriage do we see Tybalt and Mercutio standing in the plaza in the next

Once she is Buried outside the town she plans to leave home with Romeo. Romeo hears about this and thinks that she is
The wedding solidifies their feelings, their care towards each other will make their choices about each other, making others suspicious about the two, and, in turn, making their lives harder living with the suspicion and not outing their relationship prematurely. After Romeo and Tybalt fight, ending with Tybalt dead, Romeo escapes and hides in Friar Lawrence’s house. When Friar tells Romeo that he is banished from Verona as a punishment for killing Tybalt, Romeo, who is quite melodramatic, collapses onto the floor and starts sobbing. The Nurse visits to tell Romeo that Juliet is also weeping, and requests Romeo to go comfort Juliet. Romeo cries more at this, as he thinks that Juliet now hates him as he killed her cousin, so Friar tries to cheer Juliet up while formulating a plan to help Romeo see Juliet.

Star-cross’d lovers, a phrase first spoken in the theatrical play Romeo and Juliet crafted by William Shakespeare a man whose works have held the apex of the stage for ages. This one of his many wondrous works depicts the fleeting moments between two conflicted youths and their love. Though they were members of rival households who held timeless grudges against one another, they still managed to find a place for their love. However, as the play moves forward the two find themselves slipping down a treacherous slope which ultimately leads their happiness and they themselves to ruin.
Romeo kept on forcing the idea upon him, so he marries them hoping that their marriage would end the Capulet and Montague feud, even though he did not ask for the parents’ consent. He displays his hope when he says, “For this alliance may so happy prove / to turn your household’s rancor to pure love”(Act I, Scene 4, Lines 91-92). Friar Laurence kept Romeo and Juliet’s relationship secretive, making the situation worsen. Later on, the Friar shows that he has regrets about the marriage. The Friar feels that, “Violent delights have violent ends / And their triumph die… too swift arrives as tardy as too slow” (Act II, scene 6, Lines 9-15). The Friar senses that the wedding is happening too quickly and doubts his decision. He had the potential to prevent the deaths of Romeo and Juliet, but his decisions led Romeo and Juliet to do reckless actions under his ideas. Friar Laurence’s thoughtless decisions led to the deaths of Romeo and
His impulsive behavior is displayed when he seeks vengeance that built after his friend was killed by his new cousin, Tybalt. In the story Romeo states, “Either thou or I, or both, must go with him”(3.1.191). In this statement to Tybalt, Romeo is implying that he intends to ensure that Tybalt is slain even if it means that he himself must perish. He succeeds in defeating Tybalt in a one on one confrontation. Once Tybalt is dead, the young lover is banished, and a domino effect ensues on the rest of the characters. His banishment leads to the end of both Juliet and his mother’s life as a result of being separated from his mother and a plot concocted between Juliet and the Friar. In addition, Romeo hastefully goes from loving one beauty to loving another. Despite the two being complete strangers they both wish to marry each other. When he informs Friar Lawrence of his change in heart the Friar states, “These violent delights have violent ends”(2.6.9). Friar Lawrence's says this to warn Romeo of the consequences of his wish to conduct the marriage so quickly. To prevent a cease in the relationship due to no real bond between the two ‘lovers’, the Friar tries to use language to prevent him from being rushed into love. This impulsive behavior Romeo indulged caused things to escalate quickly leading to the demise of himself and Juliet’s star-crossed love for each
