What do Fine Arts mean to me? I’ve been involved in Fine Arts since the beginning of my middle school career. Since that first day way back in fifth grade when I picked up that alto- saxophone, I haven’t been able to put it down. Today I would consider myself advanced when it comes to music/band. I currently play the alto and the tenor saxophones. I feel good about myself when I tell people about being involved in band and all of the different things that the band does. Playing an instrument is a talent and I would consider myself very talented. I have lettered in band all my four years of high school. For the past two years I have attended The All-Star Masonic Marching Band Camp. I was very honored to be a part of something so big like that.
Although I've received many musical accolades, the skills and relationships I've formed while being in band are
I have been actively participating in the school band for five years. While most of my fellow classmates have dropped out of band, I have stuck with it because, I know band teaches me valuable
In high school I was involved in marching band in the Fall and concert band in the spring. I achieved coming in being last chair trombone, thinking I would never be good enough to play
Yes, these costs are unnecessary, because students should not have to take a fine arts class in order to get a diploma and succeed in life. If students need an outlet then they need to make to make time to go to an after school program. I believe what is unnecessary about the whole situation with fine arts is that if they fail the class then they would have to take it again next year and waist two credits to have an unneeded skill in life. For example, you don't need an art class in order to pay taxes like you do with math and English. Just think, what is more important in life, painting a picture, or paying bills?
You know why i'm against fine arts is because they don’t help you learn anything. At school you’re supposed to be learning stuff not goofing off in class and getting into trouble. I wouldn’t mind fine arts but it’s also a bad activity your brain is not getting any work at all, it’s just the stupidest thing.( henderson) mia
Throughout my life, I have been taken by music. However, it was not until my 8th grade year in middle school that I realized that I could be a musician for the rest of my life. Before that, music just seemed like something to keep me out of trouble. I wasn’t the best player at that time, and I still knew very little about it all. How could something like that ever support someone? Still, it was the only talent that I could find any success in, and it was still very enjoyable, so I wanted to still give it a shot.
Many might say that the arts are stereotyped as a pass time or an extracurricular activity; I envision it as a safe haven from stress and anxiety. Throughout the past 8 years, music has played an insurmountable role in my development into the individual I have become today. Through times of disappointment and dissatisfaction, I have always resorted to music as a way to relieve myself, whether it be playing or listening. Music thrives through me, and applies to every day of my life.
Along with My favorite type of Music, Art is an exciting way to expess ones self. I seem to favor more to Art that has a lot of emotion peeping through. Fine Art involves sculpturing, drawing, painting and print making. When participating
Since a young age, I have always felt a connection to music. I first started playing it when I was 3 and would play pieces by ear on the piano. As I got older, I started taking lessons and learning more about music as a whole. I took piano lessons for 4 years, and after that I switched to the alto saxophone. I have been playing it for 5 months now, and I greatly enjoy it. I still play piano, but I have begun playing it without a teacher. I practice saxophone every day so I can get better at music and learn more about it. I play as much as I can to be the best musician I can be. At my previous school, there were no music programs. I have worked hard to catch up to my class and play at the same level as them. I try to play as much as possible
Fine Arts is “Creative Arts , especially visual Arts! Whose products are to be appreciated,
An art teacher is an educator of the fine arts. This category includes painting, sculpture, design, drawing, crafts and more. On the daily basis, teachers are responsible for demonstrating techniques, grading work, having classroom discussions, selecting classroom materials. In addition, it is very important to help the students grow, unlocking their potential and artistic style. Each class would have around 20-30 students. Another thing to keep in mind is that though teachers have to work long hours, it may be necessary to stay after or work at home if they’re are behind on tasks like grading. Teachers can spend around 12 hours on average doing class related tasks outside of school. Its also important to have a drive to help people.
I think that I have an excellent balance of academic and artistic skills. Since 7th grade, I have taken an art class. This class creates a soothing break from my academic classes that improves my inventiveness. I try to express my creative side through my art work. Through several art projects, I get to expand and explore my artistic ability. Art, to me, is a form of communication. It communicates my thoughts and imagination in ways school, grades, and scores cannot. It is a complex matter and is not easy to fully clarify. Furthermore, outside of art class, I use my creativity for art projects in other classes. I try to incorporate it into a majority of my classes. Additionally, I have an interest in art that is demonstrated through extracurricular
Art is personal; an expression of inner thoughts and desires, affecting the way I not only see the world but myself. In order for a person to grow they must know who they are, their aspirations, the true nature of their thoughts, and their actuality of their persona; the physicality of art has given me this knowledge. With practicing in the arts I am able to grow as a person and I am able to see that growth within me. For with the expression of creativity, comes an outlet, an outlet of the unconscious, forming and showing the reality of the mind. This outlet releases internal emotions and helps me to find tranquility within myself. This state of mind is a supplement for my own personal problems. Also, I am able to create new ideas, ones that help me see the world in a new light. I am able to form a relaxing and mesmerizing state of mind, one that leaves me fascinated with the world around me, along with a deep love for simplicity. Visual arts have truly given me an insight on my own mind and happiness in my life. This is why I full-heartedly believe and practice in the arts, to find peace of mind, not in the world, but in myself.
Think of a work of fine art. What came to mind? Was it a painting by Van Gogh, or Andy Warhol’s Campbell’s Soup Cans, a current pop song, or a symphony by Beethoven, a piece of literature authored by Emily Brontë, or one by the Kardashians? Due to its objectivity, art is all encompassing: It can be anything created, written, performed, or photographed within which someone finds beauty. Conversely, fine art is exclusive and elite as evidenced by its’ name and the distinction between itself and art as a whole. Whether visible to all or not, there is a definitive line between pop culture and pop art versus works considered to be fine art.
Fine art is a rather wide-spanning assortment of creative works able to be observed through our senses, such as buildings, sculptures, pottery, songs, and paintings, created primarily or solely for their imaginative, aesthetic, or intellectual content. Works are meant to recall a memory or invoke a certain opinion or view of a situation or subject. They often capture imagery found in nature or human regions such as farms and cities. The topics depicted by fine art are nearly limitless, covering political, religious, comical, romantic, and satirical genres, as well as many others. We as 21st century people are exposed to much more art in everyday life than most people realize. “Everywhere you go art is evident,”; the office buildings we work in, the paintings hanging on our fridges made by our children, and the music we hear on the radio, at recitals, and yes, even coming from the shower, are all expressions of art; it is by no means confined to museums (Montenagler). Every human is made in the Image of our Creator, and because of this we are inherently creative beings (Genesis 1:26). Therefore, we can all be considered artists in one way or another.
