What Does It Mean To Judge A Book By It's Cover?

As the younger of two, I usually am judged as the least responsible. Have you ever judged someone because they are different? My story will show you that you shouldn’t. The denotation of judging a book by it’s cover is "to prejudge the worth or value of something, by its outward appearance alone." My definition of judging a book by it’s cover is when you make a final decision about someone's personality before you truly get to know them. When I hear this phrase, the connotation makes me feel sad. When you judge a book by it’s cover or judge a person for being different, it means that you’re giving other people the right to judge you just like you’re doing. Paragraph 2: Your evidence I used to be a young boy. I lived with my brother. One day we were really hungry so we went looking for food. I found this big green egg with red spots. This would seem bad to some, but it was good because I got a really good tan whenever I would go swimming. Even with all the good, I went to sleep that night hoping that the symptoms would go away. They didn’t. In the morning when I awoke, I had turned into a snake like swimming creature. I know how it feels to be judged. I have been judged for so many years after making one mistake of eating an egg. In my story the Inca’s always dropped food in the lake so that they could pass by safely because they think I’m going to hurt them. I would never hurt anybody just because they want to pass my lake. I’m so misunderstood because people judge me and think I am only a monster. My older brother told me not to eat the egg, but I didn’t listen. I should've listened. Other people judge me for being different. For being an “animal.” Well you know what? I have feelings too. I’m not just a big monster. My life is better now that I am a snake. I am never hungry and I can live my life
