These are things that I learned in DARE. The Introduction, DARE is Define, Assess, Respond, and Evaluate. First, drug abuse, what is drug abuse? When friends or strangers offer you drugs, which is bad. The only drugs are good are or is medicine your doctor gives you when you have strep throat which is amoxicillin. When strangers or friends offer you drugs you should say: no. Which is the option you do choose, but if they have something wrong with them and start attacking you or beat you up, then feel free to kick then in the shin or punch them and run if it’s after school but with the stranger, run away even if you are an adult still do.
The 3 Paragraphes part 1: Tobacco. Tobacco includes smoking and that’s it, smoking includes cigarettes and cigars. The same stranger and friend or friends who offered drugs thinks it’s a good idea to offer you cigarettes. If you think cigarettes are good for you, then you don’t know what smoking is. For the young ones reading this and don’t know what tobacco or smoking is, then i should probably tell them before it’s too late. The young ones who don’t want to read this then they should ask their parents, but i’m gonna tell them otherwise. Smoking or tobacco is when you have a cigarette or a cigar and you light it with a lighter, it’s really bad to smoke. Why is it so dangerous or bad to smoke? Because your lungs are getting more and more damaged the more you smoke, and that puts you in a high risk of lung cancer. And the

Bullying includes verbal, social, physical the worst one, and cyber which is online bullying. You have probably been bullied when you were a kid or not, but if you were bullied as a kid, i’m sorry. You should tell the teacher or fight back with is the option you should or shouldn’t do but if you do fight back, it’s either you get caught by the teacher or tell the teacher. If you get caught by the teacher then you’re in trouble or tell the teacher and the bullies are in
DARE. Drug Abuse Resistance Education. What is it? DARE is a class that teaches students, like me, how to resist and handle different situations. I took this class this year and found it very helpful. We have all been working really hard in these five months in which we have found to have come to an end. This amazing journey we have come along on was fun, and hard. Deputy Kennedy was a really fun teacher in DARE. He made fun jokes and did some funny things. The 3 key things I learned in DARE the harms of drugs and alcohol, good communication skills, and handling stress.
Did you know that in DARE it teaches you how not to smoke or drink and how to say, “No!” when someone pressures you to do those things?
I will explain something that I have learned in dare class. The topics I chose was alcohol, D.A.R.E and the resistance strategies. I will explain the three things that I have learned in the 10 weeks I had to learn these things.
According to the American Psychological Association, “Bullying is a form of aggressive behavior in which someone intentionally and repeatedly causes another person injury or discomfort. Bullying can take the form of physical contact, words or more subtle actions” (Bullying, 2013). People bully each other for several reasons and there are different outcomes that are a result of those reasons. People can be bullied physically, emotionally, or verbally. Bullying can take place at school or online. Bullying should be a considered a crime, but kids get away with it all the time; furthermore prevention can be used in order to keep kids safe from bullying.
If they keep doing what they are doing then you tell the principal or call someone for help. When getting bullied you should always try and stand up for yourself in any situation. Try and stand up for yourself when being bullied then you put some sense in their head and try and make them stop
There is no reason to bully. You should settle problems in a civil way. We should all come together and try to make an impact on the bullies. One way to help is if we see something report it .We can also have arranged assemblies in school or outside of school. As a group make a website for anti-bullying. Together, as a group we can make a difference if we stand together nothing is impossible
Are you a victim, a bystander, do you stand up? They’ve hurt you mentally, physically, and you’ve finally had enough of it. Either way, you can help. Bullying is something that is repetitive over time, and has to do with 2 people and one usually has the upper hand. Mostly, between a popular and unpopular kid. As a student in Jerling Junior High I was bullied and was known to be a bully. I was bullied for a whole year by my best friend. I was known to be a bully to my good friend. In the end, we all made up and went our own ways. I researched middle school bullying because it is a huge problem and I learned how different types of bullying happens in school, how some kids believe that harming themselves is a solution, and even how teachers get bullied, not just students.
Some things that i learned from DARE lessons are that more than 50,000 people die a year because of second hand smoke. And even more deaths a year from alcohol products which causes 75,000 deaths a year. There is also about 200 known chemicals in cigarettes.
Bullying is a Big problem in schools, either someone's not like the bully, or the bully gets picked on, or the bully doesn’t like you. What you can to tell an adult is the 5 W’s, Who, What, When, Where, Why. Who is bullying you. What are they bullying you about. When did he/she bully you. Where did he/she bully you at. Why did they bully
Bullying is bound to happen anywhere at any time but occurs mostly within school limits. Kathleen Winkler defines bulling in her book, Bullying, as “...any kind of ongoing physical or verbal mistreatment, done with the intent to harm, where there is an imbalance of power between bully and victim” (Winkler 14). Bullying has an extremely important impact on one’s everyday life and can affect their life negatively getting to the point where they can no longer take the blow. To try and prevent bullying from taking place in schools, one needs to know how bullying effects a person, what the role of each person involved in the situation is, and have knowledge of specific methods on how to prevent it. Bullying in schools is a serious problem and a handful of school do their part to prevent it; others, not as much, which means there is room for improvements.
Bullying. What is bullying? The dictionary definition of a bully is, “a blustering, quarrelsome, overbearing person who habitually badgers and intimidates smaller or weaker people.” So nowthat we know what bullying is we need to discuss other things about bullying like who getsbullied? Or where does it occur? People who get bullied are people who are different. Theymight have little money, no friends, heavy, or maybe even they like things that other peopledon’t. But that doesn’t mean they deserve to be bullied, does it? No, it doesn’t. They put theirpants on one leg at a time like everyone else so they have just as much right to be themselves asanyone else. Where does bullying take place. It could happen anywhere like the mall, home, onthe to and from school, the bus, school, and even the internet. Bullying takes place anywhere andeverywhere so keep your eyes peeled and don’t let it continue if you see bullying taking place. Now on to how to stop bullying and who is involved. There are usually four people who areinvolved when it comes to bullying. The Bully, the bullied, the bystanders
There are a lot of different types of bullying but I am going to inform you about three. One of them is physical bullying which is you are actually touching them and fighting and there is punching, or physical harm is going on. Another one is cyber bullying which is when you are texting and you are sending them bad stuff not saying good words. You most likely hurt their feelings. The last one is verbal bullying which is when you are teasing them and making fun of them you basically have power or control over them. If you are the victim you are letting them have power over you.
The first paragraph is about tobacco. Did you know that there are many deaths caused by tobacco? Tobacco and cigarettes are made of nicotine and harmful chemicals. They can also cause wrinkles, bad breath, yellow teeth, and turn your lungs black. You also can get sick more often when you smoke. Tobacco is very unhealthy and is bad all around.
With school-aged children, bullying more frequently happens while they are at school, or afterward when the students are not being supervised by their teacher in places like the cafeteria, bus, lockers, playground or neighborhood. Now that kids have access to online technology, bullying can also happen on the internet. With this in mind, teachers must now research and understand what bullying is, and develop methods to help fight against bullying. Bullying is the aggressive, unwanted behavior that occurs between kids of all ages. Children that bully are using the power they believe they have over other kids to try to control and harm them. Bullying can happen via verbal, social, or physical abuses, such as name-calling, threats, spreading rumors, isolation, embarrassment, spitting, hitting, destroying personal things, etc. In order to be considered bullying, these bad behaviors are repeated over time.
You are stupid, annoying, an idiot. If This Happened to Me/You: Ignore the bully, because all they’re doing is looking for attention or a comeback. If it gets too bad tell an authority, a teacher, or your parent/gardian
