Christianity and Judaism are two religions with many Similarities. Christianity and Judaism are both monotheistic meaning they worship one God. Both religions recognize the deity of Yahweh or Jehovah. They both trace their origins to the Garden of Eden, and that Adam and Eve are the ancestors of Humanity. They both believe that the fall of humanity was the disobedience of Adam and Eve when they ate the forbidden fruit. They believe in Heaven and hell, and the ten commandments. They both believe in Satan the devil, the enemy of man and God. With all the similarities it is their differences that separate and defines each belief. That difference being the Messiah, the man Jesus Christ, and our salvation from sin. Both Christianity and Judaism
The primary similarity between Judaism and Christianity is based on the notion that they regard sin as a rebellion. They affirm that God, through his word, has made his will well-known to all people. Thus, it is a sin to live contrary to this set will of God and there are consequences. More so, both religions consider God as being all powerful and supreme and though he allows people to sin, he confines the freedom. The religions consider that God allows sin as a means of

The most important distinction between Christianity and Judaism is Jesus Christ. As Christian, we believe that Jesus Christ is the one who fulfilled the Old Testament prophecies of a coming Messiah (Isaiah 7:14; 9:6-7; Micah 5:2). Individuals, who practice Judaism, believe that Jesus was simply a good teacher and
Judaism origins arises from the times of Abraham when god made a covenant with him and promised to make his lineage a sacred people and give them the holy land. After Abraham, the ‘children’ of Israel were born. Christianity was developed out of Judaism in the 1st Century. They believed Jesus was the fulfillment of the Jewish text ‘Torah’ which is the text that both Christians and Jews alike use. The difference is that Christians also have the New Testament that is full of Jesus teachings, miracles, and revelations of how the world will end. Christianity is based on the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, those who follow him are known as, Christians.
In conclusion, Christians see God as one person in three persons while the Jews view God as one person. Both Christianity and Judaism have the same origin based on Abraham. The difference came when the Jews did not believe Jesus because He was not the expected Messiah. Christianity is the religion of most people. Out of all the religions in the world Christianity and Judaism in my opinion have the most similar rites and rituals. They also share many beliefs and flow many of the same rules. Even though some of the rituals might seem like they are completely different, when you look deeply and find the true meaning, you will see that most of the time they share the same message. But even with all of these similarities its the differences that make them unique and these differences are what splits them apart. Judaism and Christianity each have their own beliefs and traditions, with Judaism being a religion that shaped Christianity as it is today. Both religions were shaped by the Hebrew Bible or the Old Testament, which is considered by many to be the biblical law of God (Molloy, 2009). Christians however, consider that in the New Testament with the arrival of God in human form, that our sins were forgiven. In its earliest stages, Christianity was considered a sect of Judaism. Jesus and his apostles even considered themselves Jewish in the early years of Christianity. While followers of Judaism do believe in one God, they do not believe that Jesus was the Messiah or that God is the Holy Trinity.
Judaism is a religion that believes that there is one true God. The Torah is their Bible, it is the 5 books of Moses, their laws and teachings. Judaism beliefs are quite similar to Christianity beliefs yet they have specific details that are different. In Judaism says that there was the first 7 days, on the 1st day light was created, the 2nd day the sky was made and called Heaven, the 3rd day the was put into good shape and natural items like water (seas, oceans, lakes and rivers) were made as well as dry land being made visible, plants were also produced. Christianity and Judaism are two religions that have similar origins, but distinct and varying differences in their practices, beliefs, and teachings. Judaism is the religion of the Jewish people. Christianity (Roman Catholics, Protestants, and Eastern Orthodox) stems from a Jewish sect in first century AD (Anno Domini); thus, many of Jesus’ followers were labeled “Christian” because of their claim that he was “Christ,” equated in Hebrew as the “Messiah” (Religion Facts, 2015). Although both religions share similarities between their religious virtues, founders, doctrine, and God(s), variations exist in their teachings, scriptures, places of worship, principles, and views of Jesus.

A common held belief of Islam and Judaism includes, the belief of occupying a main place of worship, which for Muslims is a Mosque and for the Jewish a Synagogue also known as a temple. The similarities and differences of practices, values and beliefs
