Most people think that the Providence Canyon which is also known as "Little Grand Canyon" should stay a state park. Well, I believe that it should become a national park. There are so many things that the park would make better if it were a national park.
Have you heard or visited the Providence Canyon? If so don't you think the Federal Government should make it a national park? The Providence Canyon is located in the southwest of Georgia's Coastal Plains. It was nicknamed Georgia's " Little Grand Canyon" because of the beautiful sandstone formations found in that area. The people that have visited this canyon think that it is a beautiful place to go that you can even camp in it. There are several things that travelers can see while they are at this little grand canyon.

Here are some reasons that the government should make Providence Canyon a national park. The first reason I think they should make it a national park is because it could help students learn more about it and it could help them in the future. Another reason is that people could go there to see the amazing sites and to be entertained. The last reason I think the government should make the Providence Canyon a national park is because it is very historical and it needs to be shown off to the world.
"Courage isn't an absence of fear. It's doing what you are afraid to do. It's having the power to let go of the familiar and forge ahead into new territory." ~John Maxwell. In To Kill a Mockingbird, Scout (Jean Louise Finch), Jem (Jeremy Atticus Finch), and Atticus Finch display acts of valor that contribute, and in some cases encourage their rectitude. Harper Lee demonstrates that acting courageously can lead to an improved, sustained, or newly developed personal integrity.
On the south rim of the Grand Canyon there is many different points to stop at. The one that stood out the most was the Desert View Watchtower, or as I call it “The Castle”. The watchtower is four stories high, and you are to climb 85 steps to get up to the top. When you make your way to the top you see these beautiful pictures a Hopi artist drew on to the walls of the tower. Climbing those narrow staircases up to the top you get this breath-taking view when you finally get there. Looking out at the Grand Canyon you get to see the Colorado River and its beauty, the millions of years of rock erosion that once used to be covered in water, and the little greenery that lines the top of the Canyon. As I was there and looking out at the canyon I
People in the U.S. know little about the Copper Canyon. It's about 4 hours from El Paso, so a weekend trip to the canyon would be easy peasy. Due to drug violence in Chihuahua, the fear is higher than the draw of the canyons. The canyon draws a large Mexican crowd on the weekends, but few Americans. Until the drug violence goes away, the American crowds will remain small
Providence Canyon, or the "Little Grand Canyon" as some call it, is a well-known tourist attraction in southwest Georgia. It is, as of now, a state park. However many believe that it should be recognized and made a national park. There are many reasons to support this decision. There is various types of wildlife, it could also be good for education on erosion and rock formations, and it would be good for the economic purposes because it is engulfed in tourism every year. This is why many believe that Providence Canyon should be made a national park.
Alaska is known for its breathtaking view of the Northern Lights and the large bodies of water that surround this deserted state. The state is also known for the Gold Rush. Alaska may not be the most populated but it certainly has some of the most beautiful and scenic views.
Childhood studies is a subject area surrounding the study of children’s lives through many different concepts or ideas with many different features. It is related to many different fields such as law, history, sociology, health, anthropology and much more as Martin Woodhead (Open University) said “It uses multiple methods rather than just singular methods” and is “inter-disciplinary” Childhood studies expresses and tries to understand the many different parts of a child’s life and the different issues surrounding childhood, therefore it has many different features.
The state is known for its remarkable canyon, the Royal Gorge. Colorado is the home of famous rivers like Arkansas, Rio Grande, and South Platte. In spite of the fact that Colorado is popular on its great altitudes, its diverse landscape is not entirely full of peaks. It is considered a favorite tourist spot because of its beautiful
The local government officials saw the economic value in this. The locals thought this area was beautiful enough to visit then maybe tourists from other areas might too. If people came then they might spend money in the surrounding buisnesses. As the author stated "In 1933, the Atlanta Constitution reported, 'It [Providence Canyon] has attracted national attention and is said to be second only to the Grand Canyon in size and scenic
Deportation has been around for quite some time, but has only now become a controversial topic due to the high incarceration and deportation rate in the last decade. According to Tanya Maria Golash-Boza, sociology professor at UC Merced, and author of the book Deported Immigrant Policing, Disposable Labor, and Global Capitalism, Obama and his administration deport more than 1000 immigrants a day. In the year 2012 the Obama administration established, “an all-time record high of more than 400,000 deportees” (Golash-Boza). What is more surprising is the fact that in 2012 more individuals were deported then the sum of all the individuals deported before the year 1997 (Golash-Boza). Mass migration of illegal immigrants began with the end of Keynesianism and the beginning of the neoliberalism. The ramifications of Neoliberalism has not only affected the us economy, but U.S. laws that directly influences the well-being of illegal immigrants.

Now you may be wondering why the Great Smoky Mountains are great.
