The Santa Clara County Vector Control District has announced mosquito fogging treatments on Friday after confirming that the adult mosquitoes collected from certain parts of San Jose in California carry the West Nile virus. The fogging treatment will be performed in the affected areas to prevent the virus from spreading to the residents. If the weather conditions remain stable, the fogging treatment will be carried at 11 p.m. on Wednesday until 2 a.m. Thursday. The ZIP code areas in which the treatment will be carried out include 95125, 95124, 95008, and 95118. Literal collection is that information that is collected from human intelligence source. In this type of collection Analysts and customers generally understand how we collect and use literal information. It requires no special exploitation after the processing step (translation) to be understood. So it normally does not require technical expertise. However, nonliteral intelligence collection usually requires technical expertise applied in processing and exploitation in order for analysts to make use of it. Many customers don’t understand it. So being said, it will make perfect sense to break up these two type of intelligence because non literal intelligence collection requires specially trained expert but literal intelligence collection does
In this project women of childbearing age was largely the population of focus, with many social determinants of the health that made this already vulnerable population even more in need of assistance concerning possible Zika outbreaks, prenatal education, and family planning services. Social determinants of health may include a variety of non-medical variables such as socioeconomic status, education attainment, neighborhood factors, racial discrimination, access to resources, working environment, etc. (Braveman, Egerter, & Williams, 2011; Mendez, Hogan, & Culhane, 2013). Women of childbearing age in relation to Zika virus exposure risk may encounter institutionalized racism and various upstream determinants of health that may negatively impact their ability to obtain healthcare coverage, educational resources, and family planning services. The political trends in Texas towards defunding Planned Parenthood and not expanding Medicaid services has placed an enormous burden on the women of Texas who wish to plan or prevent pregnancy but do not have the financial means to do so (Darney, et al., 2017). In the wake of a possible endemic disease, such as Zika virus, the most vulnerable will be the most susceptible.
Eighty percent, or four out of five, of individuals who are diagnosed with having West Nile Virus, have an asymptomatic case of the disease. This means that these people will not show any symptoms connected with West Nile Virus and the only way to find out it if they have the disease is to test for it. The West Nile test involves measuring the levels of the IgM antibody in the bloodstream, which can help to diagnose the disease. (CDC, 2005)
New solutions that might be effective in controlling and preventing the disease is to make sure that all outdoor events such as the Las Cruces Wine Festival provide a table in which provides information on West Nile and repellent for people to use. Along with being active at events, there should be a vaccine that is distributed during the high mosquito seasons.

Birds are the main start of the Virus. They pass it on the the mosquitoes, so the birds are not directly giving the virus to anyone but the mosquitoes (Indiana). The most common way to get The West Nile virus is by mosquitoes. They will bite the skin and the bite can either become infected or the mosquito could have the virus before it bit the person, causing them to be infected no matter what. It cannot be transmitted from person to person or animal to animal, or by handling and working with infected birds. Although it can be transmitted by blood transfusions, or by mother to baby during pregnancy, the virus may not get passed on without the bite of a mosquito
The incidence is highest in late summer and early autumn, until the first hard frost does away with the mosquito population for that year. Birds and other animals (such as horses) are the usual reservoir for the infection, and they are involved in its dissemination. Initial viral symptoms may give way to high fever and neck stiffness (meningeal signs). However, as with most forms of encephalitis, it is the confusion and depressed levels of consciousness (stupor) that mark the infection as being of the brain (encephalitis) and not just the meninges. West Nile Virus is an acute central nervous disease (McCance & Huether, 2014).

Patients with mild symptoms should rest, drink fluids, take pain relievers, and stay inside away from mosquitoes. If infected staying inside prevents other mosquitoes from getting the virus. However patient with severe symptoms may need oxygen administration, medicines to increase blood pressure, transfusion of blood, dialysis, or a breathing tube. All patients should stay away from Aspirin, Ibuprofen, and Naproxen because these may cause bleeding.
West Nile Virus is known as an arthropod-born virus, or an arbovirus, and are transmitted and sustained within blood feeding arthropods, such as the mosquito. The disease, while having no apparent effect on the host, is then transmitted as the mosquito takes a blood meal. As the source of infection, the mosquito or other blood feeding arthropod is known as a primary vector. However, because the life cycle of the mosquito is reletively short an additional host is needed to maintain the life cycle of the virus.
