I would like to discuss the possibility that Hitler was acting on his own "morality." I don't know too much about the man, but I would like to discuss a few points in terms of whether he was a "good person" or "bad person." ...Basically, how you should judge him or look at him. I think most people would say immediately that Hitler was evil, bad, screwed up, crazy, a lunatic. However, as far as I know, Hitler spent a lot of time studying philosophy and ideas and didn't really do much until after he was 30 years old. So, while it would be easy to just judge the guy as a "lunatic," there were probably real "reasons" for his actions. Here are a few points I have heard and I could be wrong. As far as Hitler's "hatred" for the Jews, I …show more content…
It was something to prepare the way for Christ. Because how would people know they needed a savior from their sin, if they were not aware they were sinners. So, essentially, people were given a law that they were unable to follow "perfectly" and they became aware of their guilt when breaking the law. Hence, the idea of a conscience. I'm sure the idea of a conscience preceded the Jews and probably went along with any group of people that had any kind of social rules. However, the Jews introduced a complex series of laws that would regulate nearly every aspect of your life, so the idea of "sin" became bigger, so the conscience would take on a larger role. So, one point is that Hitler didn't like to idea of a conscience. So, he targeted the people that propagated these ideas. And in his view, these people were evil. Of course, this doesn't mean that Hitler was "justified" in his actions. However, there are some implications about his thinking. If it was Hitler's desire to obliterate the concept of a conscience, then it would be easy to see how he could "unfeelingly" assist in the destruction of millions of people, without it bothering
Hitler believed that the German people were part of an 'Aryan race,' a superior group that should be kept pure to fulfill their mission of ruling the world. He felt that the Jewish people were 'sub-human,' when in actuality they were virtually the same as his 'Aryan race.' Not only did Hitler have a personal hatred toward the Jewish people, but he also blamed them for 'stabbing Germany in the back' after Germany's defeat in World War I. Hitler used them as scapegoats because they were a minority and were easy to put the blame on. 'Historians agree that the Holocaust resulted from a confluence of various factors in a complex historical situation. That anti-Semitism festered throughout the centuries in European culture is centrally important; the Jews were (and are) a minority civilization in a majority environment. In periods of crisis, instead of searching for the solution of
Hitler was in many ways a great leader and his influence on the German people was immense; he used his motivational and powerful speaking abilities to gain support and popularity. Hitler knew how to appeal to people's baser instincts and made use of their fears and insecurities. He could do that,
Once, Adolf Hitler said, “It’s not the truth that matters, but victory.” Obviously, this quote shows that Hitler’s mindset was directed towards winning, and not his moral values. He made false accusations about the innocent Jews, killing over six-million of them. These false accusations were simple, repeated, and, eventually, people believed it. The rise of Hitler and the Nazi Party affected how people viewed the Jews at the time. To begin, events in Adolf Hitler’s life lead to his viewpoints and affiliations. Secondly, the creation of the Nazi Party was critical to the formation of Germany’s point of view. Lastly, Jewish people had been used as scapegoats for the loss of World War I and Germany’s economic crisis.
To us, Adolf Hitler was known as an evil dictator who did horrendous things such as create the most infamous thing the “Holocaust” which resulted in around six million innocent Jews being killed. He started WWII which ended up with around 50-80 million people dead. But did Hitler do anything that was positive towards Germany or even the world. Adolf Hitler was a powerful leader with most of Germany behind him, so the question remains did Hitler do anything good?
In the history of "evil", Hitler had committed one of the worst deeds instigating World War II and, The Holocaust. In The Book Thief, Hitler was an insensitive person in my eyes being cold-hearted. He had killed millions of people to further “benefit” their nation. Hitler named himself a leader but, being a leader would mean protecting the people who put their lives in his hands wanting protection. Hitler was a powerful person and he stood as a symbol of evil because of what he has cost. People thought that what Hitler proposed was right just because he had power. Even in the world, today's citizens believe that what someone in power says is the right thing to do even though they know deep down that it isn’t. In The Book Thief, Hitler had killed many innocent people who didn’t know it was coming with unexpected air raids and bombings. Hitler encouraged this hatred against others with his words and the propaganda to change the way people viewed the right things. Underneath all of his lies was the truth for what he really wanted to do, to make a superior race of Germans, eliminating any Jews that stood in his way. Hitler was against all Jews as said in a quote by Elie Wiesel, “It is obvious that the war which Hitler and his accomplices waged was a war not only against Jewish
Finally, many purely hated Jews because they were not Aryan. Germany was one of these countries. Hitler, the leader of Germany, has carried hate for the Jews since early childhood. Primarily, he blamed them for his mother’s death along with him not getting into his dream school, Vienna Art College. Also, they were blamed by Germany for defeat in WWI and as the cause for unemployment. However, mainly Jews were persecuted because of the way they looked. At the time, Hitler wanted a racially pure Germany. He believed that by adapting the Darwin theory of survival of the fittest, he would be able to create a stronger generation and kill those that are impure or disabled.
Historically, the hostility against Jews was present in the ancient, medieval, and modern world following World War I. From the crusades to the Age of Enlightenment, hatred for the Jews was common amongst the diversity of European culture. The only action that was unprecedented was the death camps. Adolf Hitler is often seen as responsible for the Holocaust. Many believe that without Hitler, there would not have been a Holocaust. Adolf Hitler was primarily motivated by the lust for power and domination. To acquire this power, he needed to find a way to unite the disparaged people of Germany. He used the historical dislike and mistrust of Jews and blamed the problems of Germany on them. He accused the Jews of wanting to overrun German society and destroy the German state: "The Jew, whether consciously or unconsciously, whether he wishes it or not, undermines the platform on which alone a nation can stand."[2] With this preface, the only way for Germany to survive and thrive was to get rid of the Jews.
(Mr.V Lecture) He saw them as a scapegoat, which is someone to blame, for all of the problems that Germany was facing. Also, the Germans already hated the Jews, so they followed along with Hitler’s plans without any complaints. The Germans already hated the Jews, but there wasn’t any talk of killing every single one of the Jews. Hitler knew that if he started talking about killing all of the Jews, the German citizens would see him as a killer.
When discussing The Holocaust, our minds tend to jump straight to the genocide of the Jewish populations of Europe. This is because of the approximate 11 million people killed during The Holocaust; roughly 6 million of them were Jews. Many people are now left to wonder why Hitler and the Nazi Party specifically targeted the Jews for genocide. The main reason was because the Nazi Party took the idea of nationalism to an extreme, new level. Hitler also thought the Jews were responsible for Germany losing World War 1. Hitler may have been influenced during his childhood on the ideas of anti-Semitism. According to A Teacher’s Guide to the Holocaust, the opposition and discrimination of Jews is known as
Undoubtedly, the holocaust was one of the deadliest, perverted, inhumane and racial practices recorded in the pages of history. The theory of systematic destruction of Jews in Europe was seen as the ‘Final Solution’ of saving the world from evil and restoring Germany’s honour. Little did they know the doer of all evil had transformed the nation into a desensitized and malicious upbringing, lives were altered and every aspect of life was controlled. Nazis ideologies and beliefs in Eugenics brought about a new era; the birth of the ‘Aryan race’ was welcomed. Everyone should be treated and viewed with dignity, humility and respect; God does not promote hatred so why was Hitler engrossed in theories of anti- Semitism and full of revulsion? Hitler
He had no intention of killing the Jews. According to the narrative, 10 reasons why Hitler was a good guy, by TruthWillOut, the author states, “ He had no intentions of killing the Jews. No matter what amount of destruction he had observed done by the Jews to his people.” This shows that Hitler wasn’t wicked, he had self-control to find a better to solve the problem. He was humble and had the self-discipline to above the darkness.
Hitler is a classic case of being a narcissist. He wanted more power since he didn’t have that good of a family life. Unfortunately, he rose to power by showing that he will inflict pain on others, the way that he was raised. Unfortunately, his thought of being cruel was taught to many generations to come. They created mass chaos because they thought of anyone that was going to stand out would be a “massive threat to them”(Heine) and they didn’t want anyone overtaking the
Hitler was a very bad man. Everyone knows all the bad things he has done to Germany. But do we know any of the good things he did. He did do some good things. We do not have to be pro Hitler to acknowledge the good things he did for Germany.
Hitler is one of the worst rulers the world has every seen. There are plantable reasons why Hitler was such a terrible ruler. One reason was because of the bad influences in his childhood. Adolf was the fourth of six siblings of whom only Adolf and his younger sister Paula reached adulthood. His father was abusive to him, his siblings and his mother. That made Adolf hate his father. Hitler was an oppressive dictator affected by abusive parents, rejected twice by the Academy of Fine Arts, and he rebelled against his father.
In the article, it states “Hitler built on and used anti-semitic ideas that already existed. He was Austrian and grew up in Vienna where the mayor was extremely anti-semitic and where hatred of Jews was widespread” where he was from hatred of the Jews wasn’t uncommon, but why did he specifically hate Jews. There are many theories also to why he despises the Jews ranging from having a childhood friendship that ended with a Jew all the way to his mother was a Jew and that he was ashamed of her, but really I don’t think it was any of those. In an article, it states that “by giving the Jews the blame Hitler created an enemy” he used this as a tactic to win the election because he needed some kind of scapegoat to put the blame on. This got him a lot of support because it is easy for people to join into the herd mentality and just blame someone else for their own mistakes. Also, Hitler and the Nazis believed that Jewish race was “inferior” and did not even considered them people, so he needed a way to get them out of the picture to build his perfect Aryan race. I think Hitler just hated the Jews when he was born, so he just started a hate train towards them which also caused him to get elected into office, so for Hitler it was just a win-win and he really had no specific reason as to hating to the
