Why We Never Need to Worry about World Peace
World Peace is something that will never happen. Too many countries have too much military power and don't want to give in to any other country. War is something that the world is going to have to deal with because there has been very few years over the history of the world that have been war free. Like one quote by an unknown author says, "Peace is rare: less than 8% of the time since the beginning of recorded time has the world been entirely at peace. In a total of 3530 years, 286 have been warless. Eight thousand treaties have been broken in this time."

In 1980 Graham dedicated the center. In 1992 it was announced by the BGEA that Billy Graham had Parkinson's disease, and he would be easing back a little on his busy schedule. (Billy Graham Center Archives)
Billy Graham once said, "We must have military power to keep madmen from taking over the world." What he is trying to say is if a country has a lot of military power that will deter someone from trying to take it over. It will make people think twice about trying to take over a country with a powerful military, but it won't prevent all attacks from outside enemies. Just look at what happened on September 11, 2001. The U.S has one of the most powerful militaries in the world and still got attacked. Hijackers ran two jets into the World Trade Center towers. Eventually the two towers came crashing to the ground. President Bush stayed in the air on board Air Force One shortly after the attacks, but later addressed the nation and said that he condemns evil and despicable acts and vowed revenge on whoever did it. (NYTimes) Some of the witnesses described the scene as follows: "I'm so scared", "It took an hour to get out. Sometimes it was calm and orderly, other times it was complete bedlam", " I thought it was an earthquake at first", and " People just kept jumping and jumping and jumping and you could still see they were alive because they were flailing around." (ABC News) Those were just some quotes from eyewitnesses. That is just one example of how a
Albert Einstein went through a lot of struggles and conflicts in life. He struggled in school. People made fun of him because he had a learning disability, Dyslexia. Dyslexia is when you have trouble reading, because letters look different than they actually are. He also failed his college entrance exam and he lost three teaching positions in two years. He became a famous scientist because he did not care what other people thought about him.
He had also came up with a very famous and useful equation “e = mc2.” His words and actions had inspired many people since back then and till now. The actions that Einstein made, the thoughts he had, the knowledge he shared had been very influential to us. Einstein to me is a very smart person, a very important human being in our history.
Born March 14, 1879 in Omen, Germany, Albert Einstein was always thinking. From how to build a small model car to how to construct the first atomic bomb ever, he was extremely intelligent. As a kid, he had some of the lowest grades in school. His teachers were hard on him, and they explained to his parents that they don't think Albert will every learn the right way. They didn't know that the young Jewish kid was deeply thinking, and would soon be known worldwide.
For me, this moment—four years is a moment in history—was the war. The war was and is a reality for me. I still instinctively live and think in its atmosphere”(32). This quote made by Gene encapsulates the major role World War II plays in A Separate Peace. John Knowles, the author, utilizes the war as a spectacular backdrop for his novel. In fact, without World War II, this book would just be another story lost in the churn of the millions of novels published. A Separate Peace, which would lack an external conflict, have only a paucity of symbolisms and connections, and suffer from a lack of explanation for many of the character’s actions, would need to be completely rewritten or scratched altogether.
Albert Einstein, who arguably contributed more than any other scientist since Sir Isaac Newton to our modern vision of physical reality, is clearly one of the most gifted intellects the world has ever known. In a relatively brief period of time, Einstein changed the way people thought about space, time, gravitation and war.
The theme of war and peace has always been a problem in all periods of history and has affected the relationship between countries. The concern of the humankind for peace can be appreciated through that all religions, all religious scriptures, and organizations are helping to eradicate the wars. Yet the international community fully realized the supreme importance of the peace against the disagreements between nations after having experienced totals wars such as the 1st and 2nd world
Before any war we need to discuss any and all possible ways to avoid war. During the Obama Administration, the US successfully negotiated the Iran Nuclear deal, which put sanctions on Iran so they could not develop a nuclear warhead.. This is a prime example and US diplomacy at its best. We stopped war from starting, which is the ultimate goal. Nations need to discuss major issues with other nations, we need to cooperate. Diplomacy is just not preventing wars, it also forms allies. Allies are stronger than just one country, allies make fighting a war easier and less costly. The allies can also end the war faster than just one country. In WWII the US, Great Britain, Soviet Union, and many other European countries formed the Allied. With many of the world's powers allied together we were able to defeat Nazi Germany, and the east. They brought Europe back. War should always be the last resort, when all diplomatic relations fail, but the best way to prevent war is talk it over and examine all options. If you are in a war your allies will help make the war end sooner and save numerous
Albert Einstein is an important figure in the history of science. Einstein improved and changed science, and advanced technology. Without Albert, we wouldn’t be as far in technology than today. Einstein had struggles in his childhood. For example, his disorder made it difficult for Albert to read and write.
Einstein was a widely known physicist, with a style of working of his own. He had a clear view of physics and was extremely intelligent. After World War Two, Einstein became a leading figure in the World Government movement. He was even offered
“Many students regret choosing their Sophomore Research Project topic out of pure academic curiosity; more students find this project more enjoyable if the topic that they choose is personal.”
Albert Einstein is considered the most influential physicist of the 20th century. He is known for developing the theories of relativity. He is also noted for his mathematical formula of E = mc² (David Bodanis). Although he was not directly involved in the Manhattan Project, which was responsible for creating the atomic bomb, but he is still considered the mastermind because of his breakthrough formula. In 1921, he won the Nobel Prize for physics for his explanation of the photoelectric effect (A. Calaprice & T. Lipscombe).
Modern History is littered with Treaties and Peace Agreements… yet we still live in a World dominated by unrest, conflict and ….war.
Albert Einstein had a huge positive impact on history. He changed the confused minds of people and answered their questions. He dedicated his life to science and because of him our world has started to come together. Without him scientists would still be trying to figure out the speed of light, relativity, elements mass…. Etc. He educated the world and encouraged more people to learn about the natures of earth.
If there is war, there can’t be respect and tolerance between/among people or inner peace. Peace as ‘Gaia’ is also more difficult with the presence of war, because war brings destruction and (nuclear) weapons, which disturb the balance in and with the ecosphere. Although the absence of war may be an essential condition to reach peace, in every meaning, you can’t argue that it is the only condition which is needed. A good starting point doesn’t mean nothing else is needed to genuinely reach
Albert Einstein was one of the most intelligent, driven and moral minds of the 20th century. His early preparation in education and wonder greatly contributed to his eventual success and scientific advancements for the world.
