Imperial: War of Tomorrow Summary Lead your base and army in Imperial: War of Tomorrow where the world is devoid of borders and states. Featuring a real world map, conquer cities and revive them to their former glory! Use a variety of modern weapons and vehicles, from tanks to helicopters. ____________________________________________________________________________ Imperial: War of Tomorrow is your typical, run-of-the-mill real-time strategy game. The setting is cliche: you will take the role of a decorated commander. Your next mission - which is basically the tutorial stage - will be to return to your hometown and stabilize the situation. The game doesn’t give much of a background story, though it follows the cliche “be a powerful commander, raise your army, and rule the world” plot. Despite the game barely providing anything new, it may still be …show more content…
These range from food, steel, metal, and oil. There are not a lot of unit varieties from the start: only two types of infantry will be available. Meanwhile, you wouldn’t want to expect much from the battles. You see, you would not be able to see tank-on-tank and soldier action: simply command your units and once they reach the desired destination, the attack will ensue and almost instantly. You will then be given a full report of what had transpired. Thankfully, Imperial: War of Tomorrow does a good job in giving you rewards for finishing quests. This give you a good sense of progression and you won’t run out of resources from the start. However, the missions are pretty simple and only range from creating a certain building, training a specific unit, and researching a particular technology. Yes, these are pretty dull, but they can give you a sense of direction. Overall, Imperial: War of Tomorrow isn’t the best RTS game out there, but it’s a decent entry to an already bloated genre. It’s worth playing and can give you dozens of hours of

In the novel “Tomorrow When the War Began” written by John Marsden, one important idea that was developed throughout the written text was how life events change people. People develop the most during their teenage years which is when they are affected the most during their life.Major life events change people and teenagers need to understand this. In this novel, seven teenagers go camping and when they emerge from the bush there are fires everywhere, the power is out and the animals are dead. The small town of Wirrawee has been invaded by the army. The idea of how life events can change people is shown through the technique of characters. With the events of war, Ellie showed how she grew up and lost her innocence because of the choices she
The authors of “Zero Hour” and “The War of the Worlds” have their own unique ideas of an alien invasion if it ever were to happen. Both texts display the emotions characters must face throughout the invasion. These authors might have had their own style of writing for these stories, but they still the same impact. Both authors display alien invasions that will forever change mankind and the world as they know it.

‘Tomorrow, When the War Began’, written by John Marsden, is the first of seven books from the Tomorrow series. Through the first person perspective of the character Ellie Linton, Marsden told the story of a group of teenager who found themselves in the war zone after coming back from a bushwalking trip to 'Hell'. They later came to the realisation that an unknown force had invaded their country. In order to survive, the group had to stick with each other and fight to win back their town. The characters changed as the story progressed, they become more independent, they think more strategically and built a stronger bond between each other. Marsden used various text features like the narrative point of view, symbolism and contrast to draw sympathy from the audience.

Full Metal Jacket and Watership Down explain how military influence natural reactions to environmental changes. As individuals we learn to adapt to our surroundings in order to survive and procreate. Charles Darwin explained that the environment doesn’t favor everyone and certain species adapt and survive, others aren’t so lucky, which may cause a specie to become extinct. Adaptation comes with trial and error, watching others make the mistakes and in turn learning how to stay alive. For instance, rabbits moving from burrow to burrow to survive or soldiers going barracks to barracks to fight in the war.

Throughout the ages of history, there were many wars that were fought. For every victory and defeat, what was it that really determined the outcome of the war? Which army leader had the better or worse battle plan? With the plan they had, did it increase their chances of victory? Were there key factors in an army leader’s plan that lead to their defeat? Or, was the best decision made to completely avoid war? For a lot of the wars that took place and the ones that were avoided many years ago, the mystery still remains unsolved on how and why certain army leaders were victorious or gained a certain advantage because of the choices they made. On the other hand, it is also unknown on how or why an army leader failed to a certain extent
The Sun Also Rises gives a deep look into how war can affect a person’s life, a big example of that would be in a 1986 film by the name of Platoon. In the film, the war forced the leading male character Chris into doing things he would most likely ever do in a regular day, like his quadrant’s involvement in an attack and demolition of a small and poor Vietnamese village. Included in the hardships Chris had never faced before, he also took part in the climatic murder of Sgt. Barnes. At the beginning of the film, Chris thought the war would shape him into a strong and great man with well respect among others, instead it dehumanized him to the point where he was willing to commit the murder of his own commanding officer. He was no longer a naive,
Knowing that the novel Tomorrow When The War Began had two main themes, there are also some motifs that have been mentioned quite often in the novel. The one main motif that was identified is the campsite ‘Hell’. Hell is the one place that kept them from knowing about the war, and it is the one place that was the reason they were safe and not locked up in the showground like the rest of their families are. In the novel, it has been represented as a safe, comfortable home to all of them as it is a symbol for the seven teenagers’ safety, where they are able to go back and stay hidden in a place in which they know no one has been there since they left their trip. It is also a place that they can always return to in regards of safety and comfort
The idea of having a party/sale event for the store is a fantastic plan to get new customers in the store. We have to be careful concerning the theme we select so we do not cross any lines in the process. Using “The War of the Worlds” is great but we cannot have decorations actually like the movie due to copyright infringement; which is a real serious thing. I know the green makeup, metal trays with three legs, shooting lasers, cylinder with black smoke pouring out it are all great ideas. Let’s meet soon to come up with alternate ideas that will still give customers the feel of the War of the Worlds movie but not the exact look.
