I will give myself 79 for the video I shot. It is fairly engaged the project theme. It is a non-narrative video and exactly one minute. I think the most prominent point of my video is the conceptual development. I watched carefully of the videos you played in the class and put on the coursespaces. I also watched many video art projects after class in order to apprehend the idea of video art and tell the differences between video art and film and cinema. Then, I chose to shoot a video of my friend who performed a series of body movement. She did a handstand at the beginning of the video, and she tumbled for three times, then tried to stand upside down for many times; in the end, she showed a state of physical exhaustion. I designed all the actions, and did all the shoot and edit work. I believe the content of my video is fairly well with the category of video art. The most dissatisfied of my my video is the quality of it. It is not very clear and showed my poor grasping of basic camera knowledge. Actually, when I borrowed the camera (Nikon D90) from the department, they told me that it is not good for shooting videos. Those better cameras( the Cannons) were all borrowed by other students. So when I was shooting the video and found the images is somewhat blurred. But I thought that was the best that …show more content…
But I decided to erase the audio at last not only because the camera captured the ambience(my sounds). In fact, I tried to keep the environment as silent as possible. But when I was checking the videos, I heard very big noises which was produced by the camera itself( the camera is old and not in very good condition). I could not eliminate those noises no matter what I tried. Compared to contain those noises in my video, I believe it is better to eliminate the audio, which also create a atmosphere of calm and make the audience to appreciate the movement more
For video 1, I was not very comfortable. It was hard for me to imagine that my classmate is a real client. I felt better, after a while. When I watched myself on video, It was like, I wish I looked more in the client’s eyes and I regret that I looked at my paper more than him. Also, I looked at the video and I felt it is not really me. I thought that, I could do better than this.
The narration and dialogue was complete and did fully support the visuals to learning how to make a new style airplane. The part I was missing for me you added a small story in the beginning and then ended it. There wasn’t a reason at the end to why now at an older age to find a new airplane to make that works better then what you were taught as a child, somewhere along that line/story. The first section of the video in the beginning there was a little bit of an echo then switched to something and back to it the second time there was no echo while you talked. Otherwise this is pretty engaging.
Next I started editing the clips on Movie Maker and noticed it was hard to hear me while recording the in busy Student Center with the noise of people and the background music. So I decide to finish record in a study room in the library so it was quite with no music or distraction of other people. Recording in the library worked much
Step 1: Summarize the video in your own words in no more than three paragraphs. (Suspicious summaries will be run through plagiarism detection software.) I WANT TO HEAR YOUR VOICE!
Refer to scenes in the video clip(s) where you provided a safe, respectful, and organized learning environment.
I am taking Cinema 111 because it is a requirement to fulfill for my minor in Communications for Media. The skills that I had before taking this class in the spring was taking pictures and recording videos on an iPhone as well as a digital camera. I also know a little about the iMovie program on the MacBook Pro. I had to make a video using the program for one of my classes in the past as well as help a friend out to create her movie for a class recently. iMovie allowed me to learn a little bit about editing videos. I learned how to include background music with the dialogue playing after the shots were recorded. I learned how to crop out parts of the video that was not needed. I learned how to enter text within the video. I learned how to make a smooth transition from one scene to another. Finally, I learned how to put an introduction and an ending scene to the video.
I found lessons very beneficial for students if they may not only participate during video lesson but use the other sites which will help them in their understanding of new tasks. There is a good example from the article: “Flip your students learning”. According to this article, we can catch very interesting information for us. For example, such as during the math lesson students may use video explanation and later give some answers for the teacher regarding the topic of the lesson. In the regular class, students will learn to do their homework. In my opinion, it is more beneficial for students receiving instructions, video tutorial, or lecture using the computer and come back to the class be prepared. Using flip classes, students can achieve their academic skills. Spurlock states, “… I would recommend doing it in smaller chunks.” Using screen recordings in smaller chunks instead of one big is useful. One reason may be that long videos get boring and once it gets to that point, it will be harder to memorize main points. In my opinion, recording your own videos for your own students is a powerful help for them. There are many videos recorded on topics that may be similar for students but not as similar as to how one’s teacher does it. So, recording for your students and showing them plus explaining the way you taught in class helps a lot. “Bergmann advises that teachers spend
3. Make sure the flow go rational and clear. When we are creating the story, the video should look visually consistent from beginning until the end.
The target population for this project will be all undergraduate students attending Lipscomb University. The students that will see the video are going to be impacted
Art is an incredible medium when used to its fullest potential. What I mean by that is; it has the capabilities to surround the viewer with its imagery and play with the emotions. Paintings are particulary effective in doing this through the use of color tones and ‘temperature’. For example; El Greco used a lot of blue and green throughout his body of work. The outcome is that the subject matter comes off as ghostly and perhaps a little alien. This is in high contrast to Georgia O’Keeffe’s desert paintings, which utilise reds, yellows, and browns to create a ‘warm’ and appealing landscape.
In the video that I recorded, I explained how the stock price was influenced by the news of the company and market trend. The company I chose is Nintendo, I briefly talked about how the stock price change when there are new games released. With the limited 90 seconds, I analyzed the success of the 2 mobile games Nintendo made, Pokemon Go and Mario Run contribute to the huge increase in stock price and the daily volume. The time is relatively short, I have to cut some part of my script off to fit in the time limit. If I do have more time, I can do more comparison of the effect on Nintendo’s stock price with other companies in the same industry, such as its competitors like Sony and Microsoft.
When I first showed my video to my school, I didn’t expect to have much of an audience. However, I ended up having more
will analyze the cinematography style of Emmanuela bestie goals to bring down this techniques you have a starting place to learn more about his work first of all what makes the best great cinematographer is he adapts his style to the director and movie he is working on in this respect you can divide the style into haps there's a long lens clever style almost look like a commercial and then there's a wide angle handheld natural lighting style is famous for today what is unique to both styles is no matter what the situation he manages to get his actors to stand out and look amazing he has to predominant styles of lighting faces both of which are flattering to actors in general one he has a short lit thats when the Shadow side faces the camera
During the video the topic that I talked about the most would have to be about the way the Malawi people grow their crops. I focused on the hardships that they have to endure. What they end up having to do during the hardship. How the families of Malawi are handling being in the hardship.
This semester has been filled with informative information when speaking about our own social skill, but also other people’s social psychology as well, thus is why it will be very useful in future. Throughout the semester we studied everything from the introduction of social psychology, social influences, aggression in psychology, and interpersonal attraction and close relationships. A lot of the knowledge that I gained was not only from the “Social Psychology” textbook, but also in the videos and the reactions that we needed to come up with on a weekly basis. I like the idea of being able to watch the video to see if the experiment was successful or unsuccessful and commenting on it by giving my opinion if I agreed or not. For me,
