I am writing in reference to the Vice-President position available in the National Honor Society. I have a very strong interest in the Vice-President position and I believe that I am qualified for the job. With experience working in leadership positions in clubs at the collegiate school and outside of school, I have a diverse background with much to offer. It is my understanding that you are deluged with resumes for this position. Mine is one more, but I do have experience that is hard to come by. As my resume indicates, I have worked in leadership positions locally and internationally. I have worked hard to strengthen and develop the leadership skills needed to succeed. My experience is broad — from competing in speech tournaments to teaching
I am privileged to be one of the remarkable students qualified to join Eureka High School’s National Honor Society. I have been looking forward to applying to this organization as it provides influential help in our society. I would be privileged to join this distinguished association because it would provide me with opportunities to get involved in my community. As a hardworking, helpful, and friendly individual, I feel that I would make an auxiliary member to this organization. I demonstrate the qualities that are necessary to join this prestigious society, including leadership, character, scholarship, and service.
If you were to elect me to be a National Honor Society officer, I would accept the responsibility with much humility and gratitude. As an officer, I will ensure that every student involved in the organization has the best experience possible. I will also provide great leadership skills, teamwork abilities, and an overall prestigious character to the role of an officer. Not only do I take pride in our school and NHS, I also take pride in being a leader and role model to my peers. Conclusively, granted that I posses the experience and knowledge that is necessary to uphold such a position, I would make an exceptional officer for the National Honor
The National Honor Society is a group whose members are known for their academic accomplishments, leadership, and integrity. This group is greatly prestigious and I am honored to be invited to apply. This group also contributes a great deal towards the community, which is something that I am interested in doing more of. Until now, I have not gone out of my way to do much service and being in this group, I would have a higher motivation to do so. I would like to experience more giving to the community because whenever I have helped others, I felt satisfactory and valuable afterward. This society would be an excellent opportunity to be a bigger part of the community.
I have not had many leadership roles because I do not seek them. That said the few roles I have had have always been particularly important. I have worked in the Registrar’s Office for Mrs.
Joining the National Honor Society will provide me with the skills to apply myself towards helping the community of Manassas Park. As a junior, I wish to challenge myself towards furthering my ambitions. Contributing to NHS would allow me to bring my skills from volunteering and my experience job shadowing and use them to help the community of Manassas Park. Volunteering and job shadowing has helped me feel a greater sense of pride and identity towards myself. As a determined, respectable student , joining NHS will allow myself to grow and contribute to my community. Finally, NHS would benefit from my calm, dependable attitude and I am thankful for the opportunity to be included in this distinguished organization.
The President of the Student Council. The drum major of the marching band. The founder of the biggest club at school. All of these positions involve organizing, interacting with, and motivating a large amount of people and just scream “LEADERSHIP!” However, this wasn’t the right kind of leadership for me; I’m not the type to get up and speak in front of a big group of people or give grandiose motivational speeches, but I still wanted to be helpful to others nonetheless.
Acceptance into the National Honor Society of Petrides would be a great honor for me. The National Honor Society in Petrides will allow me to connect with likeminded people in the school who have portrayed similar scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship as I have. I have shown my leadership qualities through school events and volunteer work. Service to the school is one of biggest focus of the National Honor Society which I have always been content to participate in. The three amazing years at Petrides, I have served the school by aiding and tutoring students that have needed help academically; while participating in school events and teams showing school pride.
I am deeply honored to be among the exceptional students who are being considered for the National Honor’s Society. I have to admit this is something I have been looking forward to since the beginning career. I truly believe that this organization has accomplished great things in this community, and I would like to play a part a further the impact this is made. I like to think that I earned this honor and this prospect because i have tried my hardest to be here.
Good evening! My name is Isabella Smith and I am applying to National Honor Society for the upcoming year. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to join this club as it is a wonderful way for me to make a difference in the community. It would really mean a lot if you would take the time to fill out a recommendation for me.
I believe that my past personal and professional leadership experiences make me a quality candidate for this position because I have 8 years of experience working in an elementary school as a 6,7, and 8th-grade teacher and 2 years of experience working as English Learner (EL) Program Lead in a high school setting. These experiences have afforded me the opportunity to take on many leadership roles. For example, that of instructional leader and coach, science department chair, English Language Learner department chair, English language learner program lead teacher (ELPT), test coordinator, and facilitated scheduling and programming of EL students, MTSS coordinator, and a union delegate.
Being a member of the National Junior Honor Society would be an amazing opportunity that I would love to be a part of. It would be a great honor to be accepted into the society.
I am extremely honored to be considered in being in the National Honor Society. I believe that this organization helps a lot within communities and keeping grades up. That is why I believe I should be a member. I know how to keep my grades at the highest they can be, which in my case is a 4.0. I am also largely active within my community and school. I play softball for my high school and hope to be a captain this year since I am now an upperclassman. I also enjoy helping within my community doing things such as work, clubs, and travel softball.
Thank you for your consideration of me as a candidate for the National Honor Society, it means a tremendous deal to me. I have worked extremely hard to earn my chance to become a member of the National Honor Society and this application resembles a small prize on the enduring path to success for me. I believe, as a member of the National Honor Society, I will be able to enhance my spirit of service and accomplish more service goals and projects. Although, I already have many leadership skills under my belt, I can only imagine the many more skills I will gain from being a member of the National Honor Society. I believe you can never stop learning.
quote by John F. Kennedy, thirty-fifth president of the United States, shows that the National Junior Honor Society could do a great deal for me as a person, but I can contribute a great deal to this society as one of its members. I believe that I would be a substantial member of NJHS. I would enjoy an opportunity to be a part of this society. Also, I have characteristics that potential National a Junior Honor Society member would possess.
I am a born leader. Even when I am not looking for leadership opportunities they always seem to fall into my lap. My life has been one that is based on service to others, so I regularly volunteer for committees and extend myself to help others. It is important to me to be the best teacher I can, I regularly attend professional development sessions and implement my new learning in the classroom. However, upon starting the Teacher Leadership Master’s program at Lamar University, I was just beginning my career as a teacher leader. I had not had many opportunities to show leadership outside of my grade-level team. During team planning meetings, I normally directed the discussions. My coworkers looked to me for guidance and interpretation of the curriculum. I regularly made suggestions about teaching strategies. Additionally, I was a member of various campus committees including the Campus Performance Objective Committee (CPOC) where worked together with campus administrators and community partners to develop the Campus Improvement Plan. However, I did not view these tasks as leadership opportunities.
