Values In Brave New World

There was once a time when that word was used only to describe relationships between family and spouses. But now, we hear statements such as “I love pizza” more than we hear someone say “I love you”. The vast majority of individuals have become desensitized to the true meaning of love and have lost any sense of intimacy that once came along with the word. (1. John 3:18) says “Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue but in deed and truth.” This verse communicates to us that true love is shown through our actions rather than what we think and say. In order to truly love someone or something, we must be ready, willing, and able to act out of love and compassion when need be. If we are unable to commit these acts of compassion and intense affection towards what we say we “love”, then we are most likely
