Two Most Important Amendments To The Bill Of Rights

One of the most important amendments in my opinion is the First Amendment. The first amendment allows for freedom of speech, religion, press, assembly, and petition; however, this argument is only focusing on the freedom of speech part. Roughly around two hundred plus years ago the Bill of Rights was passed. Basically, he believed that having the Bill of Rights would have made the government assume powers not enumerated in the Constitution. Madison was not the only Founder to have these concerns. These Bill of Rights had ten amendments written in them. Madison felt the Bill of Rights were ineffective. He called them his "nausea project." Madison then supported the amendments so he could get elected to the House of Representatives. Until this day, the amendments are discussed and debated parts of our constitution. Our national diversity also includes many religious groups. The First amendment allows us to respect our religion without any sort of discrimination. Furthermore, the other parts of the first amendment are self-explanatory, we can be very vocal with our opinions through protest, discussion, and association. For example, we can boast about or express frustration with the Presidential Election of 2016, owe or we can express our freedom of speech through assembly and petitions. I find this amendment an important aspect to the rights to every citizen because the first step to change is being vocal about our rights.

From my perspective, one of the most important Amendments from Bills of Rights is The First Amendment, the first amendment protects freedom of religion, speech, the press and have the right to assemble and petition the government. The freedom of religion means that everyone has the rights to practice their personal believe whenever wherever they want. This also means when they decide to switch or change their religion they are allow to whenever they choose too, or people could choose to not have one if they choose not too then that's ok as well. I believe that this Amendment is very important because I believe that nobody is ever to be told and require to believe in something that they want too, it is not right for someone to have to faced

The First Amendment is number one on my list because in addition to including the right to freedom of religion, it protects freedom of speech. This is very crucial because as long as freedom of speech remains intact, it is difficult to take away other rights since the people can protest infringements on their rights.

One of the many things America is known for other than the big cities and cheese fries, is freedom and rights. Becoming a citizen means you gain freedom and have certain rights that protect you as a person. There are 10 official rights (amendments) called the Bill of Rights. Americans should be for The Bill of Rights because it/they protects the people and allows citizens to express themselves.

In total, America has 27 Amendments but which one do i believe is the most important , well that's what this is about. I believe the first  Amendment is the most important out of them all . The first amendment is freedom of religion , speech, press, assembly , petition Freedom of speech and religion  are the best things a country can have and also something everyone believes they should  have. Over the years many people have suffered from not being able to practice their region without being threatened or hurt. Also many people were afraid to express their thoughts and ideas.

Our book states that there is 27 amendments in the U.S Constitution. The first 10 amendments come from the Bill of Rights. The most important freedom guaranteed by the Bill of Rights is in the 1st Amendment, the freedom of being part of any religion that you identify yourself with. To me this is important because God is the center of my life. I can’t imagine life being forced to be part of another religion, to stop believing in the God I believe in.

The United States Law Enforcement was founded on government documents that contained laws, which were designed to govern our nation. John Adams once said, “A government of laws, and not of men.” Our government officials cannot commit actions unless they are considered lawful; no one is above the law. This can create conflict with our constitutional amendments, because the law can revoke our civil freedoms. Kathleen Ann Ruane, Legislative Attorney, acknowledges that there are exceptions on the first amendment of the Bill of Rights. Ruane notes that some forms of speech are not protected under this right such as obscenity, child pornography, and threats. We need these laws to keep our nation under control and safe; even if laws can revoke our civil liberties. These restriction need to serve as a moral compass for citizens. Without laws, we would be a nation of chaos and destruction. In order to exercise these necessary laws, law enforcement agencies have been created to enforce them.

]The constitution, it is quite possibly the largest piece of the puzzle that makes America what it is. This document allows the American people to be who they are. The constitution and its amendments outline the rules that are to be followed by and the rights that are given to the people and the government.

One right that is important to me is The Right to Worship. That is one of the rights that I value most. Because if we did not have that right I would be in jail probably. Anyone can have any religion. I can go to mass, worship God, and receive the Eucharist. Those are some reasons why I value the first amendment.

As the founding fathers of the United States began to build the governmental system of the new country they developed new procedures, and used established procedures they were familiar with from the United Kingdom. The Constitution and the Amendments are the basis for the criminal system in this country and the procedures for the courts and the law enforcement community. In this essay, the role of the amendments and the Bill of Rights will be examined as they relate to the court system and the criminal justice system as a whole.

The free exercise of religion, the freedom of speech, and the freedom of assembly are each absolutely essential for the health of our Republic. That is why the Founding Fathers enshrined them all in the First Amendment. While some people up hold the first amendment and respect its meaning. Unfortunately, these freedoms are currently under assault by the government, state officials and communities.

The first amendment protects freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly, and the freedom to petition the government. Freedom of religion allows people to choose who and how they worship. In many countries people are forced to worship a certain god and this freedom prevents such from happening. Freedom of speech allows people to openly express their opinions. People can express them self freely as long as they are not making false accusations or harming another person’s reputation. This amendment also allows people to join clubs and groups. These clubs and groups are a good opportunity for people of the same beliefs to get together and voice their opinions. Freedom of the press makes it possible for people to be informed of what’s going on in their government. Once informed of what is going on in the government, people can petition the government, thanks to the first amendment. It is important for people to be able to tell the government what is being done right and wrong, so they can make improvements upon the suggestions.

Amendments are rights that cannot be taken away, here are amendments I and II. Amendment I, states “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” This means congress will make no laws about religion or not allowing the ability to practice religion, limiting the ability to speak freely, having the ability to inform the public about the news, assemble peacefully to protest, or question the Government about unfair practices.
