The only daughter of Tony Stark sat in her lab in the Avengers secret facility unlacing secret documents leaked by a certain Natasha Romanoff as she flicked through the glossy, high-fashion magazine huffing as she looked through the endless pictures of the emaciated models and wished that she herself was only a little bit taller. Throwing the magazine behind her in annoyance Ariane glanced back up at three screens perched before her, all of which were showing various extended timelines, but as to what they were timelines for, she had yet to discover.
"FRIDAY, tell the old man I can't make games night would you?" Ariane called out to the new member of the Artificial Intelligence, She hadn't dared tell FRIDAY that she preferred JARVIS however.

"Sorry...I forget you're not much of a hugger, but thanks for saving me pizza, it saves me 'cooking' for myself" Ariane's adventures in the kitchen were nothing short of a disaster.
The excessive amount of hooting and hollering coming from the large common area signaled that the evening was well into the swing of things as they both appeared around the corner. A small smile tugged at Ariane's lips as she watched a few of her only friends playing a variety of board games cocking her head as she watched Natasha explain the rules of Monopoly to Thor and Bucky both of who looked thoroughly confused.
"Good of you to finally join us Kiddo." Tony Stark shouted over the bedlam being created within the common room, Ariane giggled as she decided where she would place herself, hopefully in a corner with a book but Ariane didn't see that happening her father wasn't about to allow that. A plate with four slices of margarita pizza perched on it was handed to her without a

All women are vain to a degree and any damage to their face will make them instantly retreat." Ariane spoke from her years of experience with childhood bullying had left her with in-depth of knowledge of fighting girls.
"Ari's right, she's not trained but she's got a point even the ugliest of woman don't want to be punched especially not in the face at least, with all this talk I don't think I want to meet you down a dark alley kid." nodding her head in agreement Natasha, the sarcasm dripped from her statement, a cushion was soon flying through the air and instead of hitting her intended target Ariane missed entirely and hit Bruce full on in the face. Mortified Ariane hid her face in Bucky's shoulder as if he could protect her if the good doctor decided to lose his shit and go green.
"Bruce, I'm so sorry, please don't go all green on us," Ariane called out holding up a white hanky as terms of surrender, everyone breathed a sigh of relief as Bruce let out a laugh, something he hadn't done in a long time. Picking up the cushion thrown at him Bruce takes his best shot and catapults the ridiculously expensive cushion through the air in the hopes of hitting
( Page 232) The girls are showing a human trait which is know as jealous. So far we are only seeing most of the girls adapt to human
For example, when Captain Jaggery was whipping Zachariah Charlotted was scared, so she plead and plead. Then she grabbed the whip out Captain Jaggery’s hand, and accidentally hit him with the whip. In this case Charlotte took a big risk and stood up to Captain Jaggery. The Captain was furious because Charlotte humiliated the captain in front of the crew members. Every crew member on the ship was frightened to stand up to the captain, and Charlotte who is a girl humiliated the Captain and she hurt
In Toni Cade Bambara’s, Raymond’s Run, the most intriguing part is the conflict. Based around young girls, they argue using many different tactics. Body language, flaws and snarking comments are obviously used because With a swift recollection of the attitude your body is radiating and a quick earful of gossip, girls can easily find even a single, lone detail about you that they will twist ever so slightly till it breaks down you outer-layer of confidence. The moment they see the slightest change in your behaviour, their brain gives them a clap on the back for the ability to break off the tiniest piece of your confidence so they can add it to their collection. girls are known users of mentally-destroying tools. While most readers would
“This is girls’ world, all of the fightings had to be sneaky.” Said by Lindsay Lohan in the movie, Mean Girls. The entertainment and fairytales stories have a tendency to have women going against each other. Cinderella has mainly had her stepmother and step-sisters keeping her busy with chores for twenty-four hours. While Rapunzel is stuck in a high tower alone because of a witch. Not only classic fairy tales have this pattern, but songs have this same formula. Notably, Taylor Swift is known for her bitter reputation of calling out her ex-boyfriends, but also writes songs calling out women. Lastly, movies will show women fighting against each other for the comedy effect especially Mean Girls. In stories, women characters tend to destroy other female archetypes for power.
Despite her horrific past and heart-wrenching life experiences, the girl didn’t look to have a heart of stone. She still laughed, still quipped, still gave her advice to people who desperately needed it. Albeit difficult, she did her best to keep her inner motives locked under chain and key to those around her. The facade she hoisted up on her own was stronger than the walls that caged humanity. It would be tough to get her to speak aloud of what she wanted to do to the Armored and Colossal Titans’ owners. For one thing, all she would ask for is a sword and her fists.
Matt's awe vanished in anger. “Tell her maybe it is good for nothing,” he ordered the girl. “Attean is fond of it. And it's hurt, hurt badly. We've got to get it out of that
Ben shot her a glance, but didn't have time to congratulate Sky on her quick thinking as she circled the parking lot; looking for an avenue of escape, or attempting to provide him an angle for a headshot?; and, with weapon now reloaded, he powered down the window and returned fire. "Shit'. The agent ducked and yelped with each bullet that pinged off metal and spider-webbed the windshield, spraying the interior with shards of glass. As Sky finally headed for the main road, Ben changed tactics, and fired into the front tyres of their opponents' vehicles as they passed, hearing the satisfying pop of
Society has created the stereotype that women are petite and dainty. “No Name Woman” emphasizes this expectation by elaborating on the extremes that women go to look beautiful. The author comments on the techniques used to pluck eyebrows saying “It especially hurt at the temples, but my mother said that we were lucky we didn’t have to have our feet bound” (Kingston 196). The expectations that society has for women to look beautiful are unfair because men put little effort into their appearance. In general, a woman with flawless appearance is favored over a woman that shows her natural
As an allotment of manhood, the essence of brutality, especially in a warrior, is deemed essential. Men are expected to have that ruthlessness among their character as it was envisioned by humans beforehand. “Because this state of mind is rarely attained, and when achieved, nearly impossible to maintain, androgyny is an ideal goal- a vision of unity and harmony beyond the confines of gender, within the confines of the human” (Kimbrough 133). They are envisaged to be very masculine and cruel in order to be able to kill their opponents in battle without feeling guilt or regret. It is a man’s job to prolong this aspect due to that women are defined to have a gentle heart and be regretful of any vicious acts.
This meant that just like a fountain, which has water flowing through it, a woman who was moved was causing herself to look ugly or unbecoming. The idea that anger made a woman ugly points to the anger Katherina felt when Petruchio tried to court her. She seems to blame the fact that she had not found a suitor earlier upon her anger making her look unattractive. Another famous segment of the speech is when Katherina says, “Why are our bodies soft and weak and smooth,/ Unapt to toil and trouble in the world,/ But that our soft conditions and our hearts/ Should well agree with our external parts?” (5.2. 177-180). This segment reduces the personality and being of a woman to the way her body is built. Katherina’s speech gives the idea that, since it seems that women’s bodies were weaker, they then were unable to work hard and do traditional masculine tasks. This segment of the speech reduces men and women to only being able to follow societal gender
She is, therefore, always, woman-like, a lover of young men, because they are less cautious, more violent, and with more audacity command her"
The author of The Rough-Face Girl, Rafe Martin, uses traits within the story like good-nature and inner beauty. In the story, the rough faced girl says, “Whatever you can spare, I can use” (pg 14). Even when her father gave all the nice things to her older sisters, she is appreciative for what he can spare her. She could have been angry about him favoring the older sisters, but she takes the old, deficient items and uses them. In addition, when the rough faced girl goes to meet the invisible being the sister says, ”
Throughout history, violent women and women with violent intent have starkly emerged from many countries, carving their niches in myths and legends. The creation of these stories suggests that men began to notice lethality in feminine charm centuries back.
It 's not a mystery that society 's ideals of beauty have a drastic and frightening effect on women. Popular culture frequently tells society, what is supposed to recognize and accept as beauty, and even though beauty is a concept that differs on all cultures and modifies over time, society continues to set great importance on what beautiful means and the significance of achieving it; consequently, most women aspire to achieve beauty, occasionally without measuring the consequences on their emotional or physical being. Unrealistic beauty standards are causing tremendous damage to society, a growing crisis where popular culture conveys the message that external beauty is the most significant characteristic women can have. The approval of prototypes where women are presented as a beautiful object or the winner of a beauty contest by evaluating mostly their physical attractiveness creates a faulty society, causing numerous negative effects; however, some of the most apparent consequences young and adult women encounter by beauty standards, can manifest as body dissatisfaction, eating disorders that put women’s life in danger, professional disadvantage, and economic difficulty.
We never realize how much we appreciate something until it’s taken from us and I have been given the unique opportunity to have something that was near and dear to me taken in awful circumstances, but unlike most cases I will get back what I lost. One of the top goals on my bucket list since 2013 has been to finish an Iron Man Triathlon, (2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike ride, 26.2-mile run). This past spring that goal of mine took on a whole new meaning. On March 18th, 2016, I was riding my road bike alongside the highway, training for an Olympic length triathlon. I was hit from behind by a woman driving 65mph who was texting and driving, I ended up 180 ft. from the point of impact, unconscious. When I was loaded into the life flight helicopter at the scene of the accident, I was not expected to survive till the next day, let alone ever walk again.
