once upon a time there was a little boy named Timmy, Timmy was scared, there was an epidemic Going around that could devastate whole cities in the matter of days, he was in one of which. The disease was spreading so rapidly, the speed it was going can make a car look like it's trekking. Timmy was in fear for his life with his family, momma Rose, and poppa Bobby. The news reports estimate about 1000 people die an hour world wide, and it had spread to their city. The disease evicted people from their homes. One day the news had a precise way on how the disease was spreading, they weren't being impartial about it, the shared it with all other nations and everyone and country. they thought it was irrelevant, not knowing how deadly this disease
After a couple of hours, I decided to go home. As soon as I got there, there was a news truck pulled into my driveway. A tall lady with blonde hair and blue eyes asked me if she could give me and interview. "So what do have to say about the events that occurred today,"she asked." Well, I really am still trying to take all of this in," I said. "I never suspected this to happen, and I believe that we should be more prepared for if this should happen again." "It was less than a second, maybe half a second, but it changed

For Timmy his at bat in the last inning in the baseball game was the definition of Confidence. As Timmy walked up to the batter’s box his legs started to shake and his hands got clammy. His heart began to pound. But he wanted to hit in the game winning run. He didn’t want to be the player to get the last out in the district championship. So as Timmy stepped in the batter’s box he heard his dad who never misses a game cheering for him and his team rooting him on. But now when Timmy stepped in the box he had an extra hop in his step he was confident now. As the pitcher pitch the crowd was silent it was a battle between the pitcher and him. When Timmy hit a shot in the gap to score the winning run the crowd roared and his teammates ran on the

Being unexpectedly roused from a restless sleep, Casey felt the mattress being pressed down as if someone had sat on the bed next to her. Holding her breath, she listened. There was the soft rumble of thunder far off in the distance, the whirring of the overhead ceiling fan, and the faintest sound of someone’s soft, rhythmic breathing.
It was just a normal day in Detroit, Michigan for a fifteen year of boy named Rick. Rick was on summer break after just finishing his 9th grade year. As Rick came home from the park he saw his parents outside doing garden work. Rick had a lot on his mind because both of his parents had recently lost their jobs, and he was worried about what would happen to them. He knew that his parents were running low on money, and they needed to find a job quickly or they would lose their house. He sat on the couch, turned on the TV, and began watching the news. He saw news clips about a terrible hurricane that had demolished Haiti. Houses were flattened and families were living on the streets with no food or water. He began to realize that there were people worse off than him in the world. He began to fall asleep as the news story played in the background. Soon he was asleep, and began to dream about a poor family from Haiti who was homeless because of the storm. They were speaking to him, and asking him to help them. He woke up in a sweaty panic, and knew he had to do the right thing.
Traditionally, women have been known as the less dominant sex. They have been stereotyped as being only housewives and bearers of the children. Many interesting characters in literature are conceived from the tension women have faced with men. This tension is derived from men; society, in general; and within a woman herself. Kate Chopin‘s short story, “The Story of an Hour”, focus on a woman’s dilemma near the turn of the 19th century. Contradicting the “normal” or sad assumption of death, “The Story of an Hour” illustrates the significance of death representing freedom. The Story narrates about an hour of Louise Mallard’s life, as she tries to understand, and deal with her feelings of her husbands death.
Lately I have been a complete mess. Danny's been dead for a year now and the time to mourn has long gone by. But everyday I still think about how it was my fault. If I just hadn't told Danny that Lucy was cheating on him, I wouldn't have to write this write now. I desperately need forgiveness, but who can forgive me? I certainly can't talk to Lucy from beyond the grave. And the children are just too young to understand. And if I tell Mom, she will certainly never forgive me. Only Cicely knows, but she won't take me seriously. She says that I’m being paranoid, that it’s not really my fault. But I know it is. Nobody just drives into a wall on purpose.
Hey! So I was reading this essay in the book that I bought for my English 101 class about how the horrible stuff you see on the news is COMPLETELY blown out of proportion sometimes and I just thought, “Wow, that’s completely true.” ‘Cause sometimes it’s just ridiculous! Like a couple years ago when there was that Ebola crisis and people TOTALLY freaked out! In reality, not many people in America got it and yet SO MANY PEOPLE were afraid of getting it. Like, what the hell? That’s stupid. People can be worried about the people who ARE getting it, but to actually think you’d contract it yourself is completely unrealistic! People seriously need to calm down.
Most of the men in the room didn’t know Mikey, but everyone made toasts to their own fallen friends. Many of them asked about Mikey, and his friends were willing to talk about him. So, Jackson traded his empty glass for a glass of water and made an effort with every toast with everyone else in the room. Early during the evening right after the first toast, Frank whispered to Jackson, “How’s your stomach?” and got “Terrible” as a reply, so he went out to the car, retrieved a pill from his bag to settle Jackson’s upset stomach. After Jackson took the tablet with a drink of water from his glass during one of the toasts, he felt some relief as his stomach settled down, but it still bothered him and would until he ate something. Due to the processed
"The reports have been coming in for a few days. The cure is being given for free. For free to thousands in every major city in America on June 10th. People across America are asking what is the cure? I have said this before, but I will say it again, 'Only the government knows what the cure its. They are being very hush hush about it. If I knew what the cure was I would tell you.' The president said this a few days ago, 'I can't tell you what the cure is. All I can tell you is this, the cure is the answer to any problem you may have.' People across America are scared. They worry that the cure is some kind of virus the government will use to get rid of the weak. Would the government really do that?"
The epidemic came in a period when the American society looked at the welfare of each other and held their neighbors’ challenges as their own. When they say their neighbor was ill, they helped them. This social aspect that characterized the American society did not happen during the pandemic. There were hundreds of people, especially women, who had delightful dreams of themselves in the roles of angels of mercy. They had the profound vanity to imagine that they were capable of great sacrifice, yet nothing seemed to arouse their aspirations. They were told of children who were dying in their homes of starvation as there was nobody to give them food, yet they still could do nothing about
