Palasut (To Scoop) To begin the drill, player B (on the right) throws an angle #1 attack. Player A blocks and slashes at the same time (#1) Player A then scoops the arm and tries to cut player B in the ribs (#3 & 4)

Player A throws an angle #1 attack while player B blocks (using the back of his arm and slashes downward.
This puts him in a better position to pass the arm. A pass goes overhead, if player B would have sliced upward he would have scooped the arm. As 'player B' passes the arm overhead he grabs it and slices downward. Then 'player B' returns an angle #1, this allows 'player A' to block, cut and pass Here 'player A' passes, grabs to control and slices downward. From here the drill keeps repeating. Scoop Drill - For the scoop drill we are moving in the opposite direction as before. 'Player A' attacks with an angle #1 and 'player B' blocks up instead of down. This allows him to immediately hook his blade on the opponents arm
What we are looking for is expediency, you would not cut down, then up to scoop as that would be three moves and the arm may not still be in the same position. You want to simplify it, by cutting up hooking the arm and then scooping.
From here 'player B' grabs the arm (above the elbow) for control and slashes up. Then returns an angle #1 attack.
'Player A' blocks, slashes upward,

I remember hearing of the death of the “King of Rock and Roll”. It was August of 1977 when I was soon to enter my senior year in high school. He had been found dead in his Graceland bathroom from a heart attack due to an abuse of prescription drugs.

The poem titled Sea Rose by Hilda Doolittle tells about a rose, but not just a rose like any other. The poem instantly begins by going against the common connotation of a rose, the reader is given this passage “Rose, harsh rose,” (line 1). When the thought of a rose comes to mind the last word used to describe the soft petals and beautiful color would be harsh. H.D. (Hilda Doolittle) wants us to think about this rose as not an ordinary or normal rose but to see it as something more or something less. She goes on to say, “marred and with stint of petals” (line 2). To mar something is to disfigure or impair the quality/appearance of something, in this case a rose. Stint means to have an ungenerous amount; by this line we can understand that H.D. has begun to take a rose something commonly associated with beauty and love and twist into a disfigured and battered depiction of what it once was. The rest of the stanza goes on to say, “meagre flower, thin, sparse of leaf,”. A rose is meant to be a strong symbol of love and beauty, yet the depiction of the rose H.D. is giving the reader goes against the preconceived notions of what a rose should be. H.D.’s language and perception of the rose challenges to the reader to think of the rose as something more.
