Teddy Roosevelt is most known for his progressive policies he enacted as president of the United States. He was a strong and determined leader that set the stones for the United States to become a superpower. He did this through his many government reforms. He brought environmental issues into light. He made many successful negotiations with foreign powers that still affect us today. Teddy Roosevelt is the human representative of the United State’s compassion and determined work ethic towards a goal.

Theodor Roosevelt, our 26th president, was a gruff politician who had a huge impact on America. He is known for his accomplishments in the political, social, and business world during the Progressive Era. His accomplishments helped shape America, and because of this influence, he is one of the faces found on Mount Rushmore.

Theodore Roosevelt was the most energetic man ever to fill the office. In my opinion, he was the President who was more creative in laying out the progressive agenda. He was first to established what the government had to do. In other words, he had to convince Congress, media, and the public as a whole that the Country needed to go in his ideals of direction. A progressive politician who believed federal government should take charge, and expanded powers of the presidency. He also established the FDA to regulate punitive of drugs. Known as a trust buster, which meant that he was always fighting the big companies, so there would be fair competition. He was an environmentalist, conservationist who established National Parks, forest and monuments.

What made Theodore Roosevelt such a great president and person? Many people aspire to be like him, but he sets a high bar for humanity. He is in many people's opinions one of the greatest presidents of the United States, so incredible that his face is set in stone and will be for hundreds of years in the future.

I chose Franklin Roosevelt because knowing that he was the president that served the longest term; it made me want to know exactly what kind of person he really was. I want to know precisely why he ran for president. What impact did he have on America? What role did he play in WWII? Hopefully by the end of this assignment I will have learned something interesting about President Franklin Roosevelt.

Theodore Roosevelt was one of our greatest presidents. He created the FDA and improved the position of the presidency greatly.
