Censorship, according to Google, is “the practice of officially examining books, movies, etc., and suppressing unacceptable parts”. Censorship happens when someone,be it a parent, a teacher, feels uncomfortable with their child(ren) reading something, and decide it’s unfit for all children, including high-schoolers.

In an article by Judy blume (an author whose books have seen and abundance of censorship) wrote the book Places I Never Meant To Be. The book was a collection of challenged stories by various authors and in the introduction she explains her views on the censorship ordeal.
