The first branch is the Legislative Branch. This branch is very important because it makes laws that people of the U.S. have to follow. The Legislative Branch was made with the constitution. The Legislative Branch is made of the Senate and the House of representatives. There are certain qualifications for becoming a Senator and a Representative. They’re located on Capitol Hill. The legislative branch has 2 leaders. The leader of the House of Representatives is the speaker of the house. The leader of the Senate is the Vice President. The Legislative makes laws to make sure people have their rights and don’t fight, otherwise they get punished by the law. Without the Legislative Branch, there would be no laws. It deals with unconstitutional laws and governments and 2 or more states.The leader of the judicial branch and the supreme court is the chief justice. The supreme court consist of 9 members. They are appointed by the President and approved by the Senate. There are no qualifications to becoming a Supreme Court justice. The term of office for the Supreme Court justice is to serve for life.
